Why not change how Tunneling effects survivor scores?
A random thought that occurred to me. Maybe getting tunneled out wouldn't feel so miserable if the game wasn't rubbing salt in the wound by giving you the lowest BP and lowering your MMR if you get tunneled out.
If the game can recognize a tunnel situation then certainly it can also give bonus BP to whoever was getting tunneled and also give a neutral result to your MMR rather than a negative one. And if the tunneled survivor pulled off a long enough chase even count it as a win.
Sure this won't magically make tunneling feel good or solve all the toxicity with how tunneling effects the game. But people might generally be more chill if the game wasn't t-bagging you when it happens.

Yeah, a massive BP reward isn't going to make getting tunneled feel any better, so I don't see the point. And I would think of a lower MMR as a blessing in disguise. When I see talk of high MMR, all I hear is "Survivors just bring genrush or DS/OTR," or "Killers always bring slowdown perks." If people don't like facing those builds, why do they sweat so hard to raise their MMR? Especially when you can't even see it?

The big issue with tunneling from a Survivor perspective is that getting tunneled means that you cannot really play the game. Sure, you are somewhat playing it, but you are only doing one part of it (chases) and this is even cut short. And if you are playing with a friend, you even have to wait for them to go into the next game, on top of already waiting for the game itself. And Killers usually tend to tunnel someone out and then basically farm for themselves, because in an early 3v1 you can easily 3-hook everyone afterwards.
More BPs would not really change that. You could also get more BPs if tunneling would be less of an issue, because you would actually get to play the game.
And if I look at my characters - in theory you only need to play one character as Survivor and if I look at my Main, I have thousands of every Item, Add On and Offering. I could probably not spend a single BP on her anymore and will probably have Items + Add Ons + Offerings until the end of the game. So more BPs would not really give me anything if the quality of the games is bad.
(On top of that - getting tunneled out early still means you lost the game. Would be weird to get a lot of BPs for losing quickly)
