I'm Married to DBD...
…every match is a mistake I willingly repeat.
…I don’t boot it up for fun. I boot it up out of obligation.
…I complain during the queue, during the match, and during the post-game chat.
…I don't enjoy it. I tolerate it aggressively.
…I don’t even want to win. I just want it to be over.

add something else to the rotation, like Marvel Rivals. Dbd always feels fun after a break and it helps you not sweat the small stuff.

If I can shake the DbD addiction cravings long enough, playing a story-based game helps me remember what I like about gaming.

ever play KOTOR 1? that game scratches my DnD+ space itch

I was pretty into Star Wars pre-Disney but I didn't play that one. I loved Jango Fett: Bounty Hunter though, which was aroud the same time.

KOTOR 1 and 2 are by far the best starwars games i have played.

I've been bouncing between DBD, Nightreign and a couple other games like Balatro and Killing Floor 3 to stop a burnout

Let go. Delete it. You'll feel so much better without feeling obligated to a VIDEO GAME. Look after your mental health. I had to stop playing marvel rivals because of it. It's so much nicer not having anxiety or crashing out over a game. Let go.
