How is it so hard for BHVR to give some sort of instructions?
Literally any instructions on how to do the event quests… After months, I'm making an effort for them to log on and play a bit. Multiple matches and I cant figure it out.
Quest: "Destroy decoy snowman 3x with snowskull or killer action"
What I did so far to attempt this:
- Snowball all snowman on the map. No progress.
- Throw games to get ppl to go inside snowmen (cause literally nobody does this naturally), then throw snowballs on occupied snowman. No progress.
- Try killeractions (I assume this means M2?) on the same 2 things above… no progress.
- What else am I missing…?
So … is it bugged? then pls just killswitch it or at least tell us that it is bugged… infuriating to say the least.

Apparently, you have to hit the HAT of a snowman with a fully charged snowball, this is what worked for me. You have to get the "bullseye" event instead of "nice try". I found it completely accidentally, and still not sure whether it's a bug or it's really supposed to only count "hat kills".

DECOY snowmen.
The ones that jumpscare you, not regular snowmen.

ye its the decoys you want not regular ones. i found a snowpile, made snowman, abandoned the snowman to make a decoy then hit it with snowball. did it 3 times and it worked.

Yup thanks got it now.
But my point is how are ppl supposed to find out on their own? Guess I got unlucky not finding "decoys", cause some matches I literally made 10 circles around the map and snowballed every single one of them without progress. And there is also no visual difference between them, at least not that I could spot. BHVR laziness p me of so hard sometimes.

All the quests are self-explanatory. You just have to read properly and understand what is written. In this case you just didnt read properly and you didnt understand what "decoy" meant, cause you didnt took enough efford to understand the event gameplay in detail. Thats not a fault on bhvrs end.

Well they don't specify decoy from normal snowman in anyway in the gameplay instructions so op has some point in his complaint.

Even instructions are never a full guide, in no game, cause it would completely extinguish that players are meant to explore the events by themselfs. And they speficially mentioned "decoy" in the quest challenge, so you can guess that there are different types of snowman. Than if you grip the event a little bit you could easily discern what is meant by decoy for yourself. Nobody needs a full handholding instruction here, cause the event isnt that complex to begin with.
