Is anyone else getting “Quit Game” followed by “EAC client cannot be instantiated”?
My game won’t launch and keeps throwing this error. Has anyone else run into this, and did you find a way to fix or work around it?

Its a PC / EAC issue we just have to wait for it to be fixed sadly. no Christmas dbd

omfg you serious after i spent an hour(more like 15min(but still)) of my life Validating, Repairing Deleting EAC and reinstalled dbd for no damn reason…

nope still not working for me. easy anti cheat not working which is preventing the game from starting…ironic really. with all the cheaters recently has EAC ever worked?

really that sucks! I wasn't able to use for around 2 hours then came back on for me. crazy some can get in some cannot

Its connection issue to EAC servers. Would be better if it would be stated to that but "EAC client cannot be instantiated." just means the EAC program on your computer is not able to connect to its servers that it needs to connect to work correctly.
