No mither is a major doom perk
Now I'm not trying to dog on anyone who uses it because I get it, it's a perk and you wanna use it for fun. I mean heck I use self care this was mostly because no one bothered healing me so I just screw it and brought it with botany. But I just can't get the appeal of it. Your permanently injured, you give a killer like Oni and Dredge their power, most killer perks rely on injured survivors so that. What you get out of it? Iron will and slightly worse but unlimited unbreakable but what about synergy? Well looking at the while injured perks we have
Dead hard: makes sense both are David perks
Resilience: Okay I get it most survivors bring this or Deja vu with Deja vu more being only three gens and 6% but you can be healthy or injured
Road life: healing speed boost but just bring botany since I mean...not as fast but requires less work to use it
Dead line: okay okay I get it extra skill checks does mean better chances of greats
This is not happening:...I don't even think a no mither player uses it
Lucky break: not on the level of useless with no mither but I mean 60 seconds and needing to heal just get more charges but you already lose because your permanently injured
Now we can look at what killer perks love no mither
Alien instinct
Blood echo(if your running any exhaustion perks)
Hysteria
Thanatophobia now always at 1 stack till dead
Stridor(more lowers the grunts to about 50% so Spirit players will need to crank the volume up to 200%)
Now not a lot of them but remember some just need you to be injured to work.
As said you can run no mither I just don't get the appeal of it nor will I ever will it's just a perk that gives you that massive handicap for such a little pay off.

Genuine thrower perks.

Agree. If any of my teammates are using No Mither or an Invocation perk, the match is already over.

I'd use it more because I like the challenge but I don't wanna weaken my team on purpose because solo is trash as is already.
If I use it, then maybe in a Swf.

Won matches with it as I do get it time to time with the random build generator I use. Its a perk yes it can cause losses but you can also lose while running all the best perks.

I like it with Invocation:Bird is the Word my only problem is that No Mither is a giant tell. hmmm where did the broken Taurie Doom go? surely not the basement xD

Like only change I would be fine with is that you start the match full health but when you first time lose the health state you stay broken the rest of the match. This would give some chance of using it invocations or other tactics.

Anyone else get two teammates with No Mither during Chaos Shuffle?
Good times! 😕

I swear its coded to show up more often than other perks, probably just a bias towards noticing the perk but I did get a match with three of us rolling it. Thankfully the killer took pity on us.

I use it when I'm feeling dangerous.
It has a couple of unique advantages, but requires some very aggressive and risky playstyles.
You can't be slugged:
Ironically, taking protection hits with No Mither can be effective if you have less hook states. If the killer is trying to tunnel someone else out and you take a hit for them, they HAVE to pick you up and hook you, or the hit is completely free.
It's incredibly effective with Scratch Mark hiding perks:
Since the perk hides Blood Pools and makes you silent in one slot, any perk that hides Scratch Marks (Poised, Boon: Shadow Step, Distortion, Dance with Me, Lightweight) makes you genuinely untrackable.
It also pairs well with Tenacity, since you don't leave Scratch Marks when dying. You can also use it with Exhaustion perks while keeping the silence unlike Iron Will.
It puts a massive target on your back:
If you're real good at looping, this is a benefit. The amount of killers I've had ego chase me for game throwing periods of time because I look like an easy target is pretty crazy.

It's not a perk for everyone, and has major risks, but it can lead to some playstyles that would be impossible without it. It has a huge skill floor for a perk, but I love the kinds of perks that can be used in weird and unexpected ways like this.
I'd hate to see it overhauled, it's one of those weird quirks of DBD that keeps the game fresh, and it's undeniably iconic.
