I hate scene partner
As killer and survivor I hate it.
For killer it's not even the aura part...it's the constant screaming even playing survivor it's just annoying after a while. Facing someone like Clown or a killer with infectious fright I can deal with it fine because I also know it's not constantly happening every 20 seconds(yes I know the perk has a cool down of 40 seconds but still).
It's worse if I'm on a gen with that survivor and they shout(yes I should mention it's a shout not a scream since a shout is a short version of it) then suddenly the killer shows up because they'll walk over to you because they heard it. What makes it even worse...so many survivors just have really annoying shouts. Like just make a setting for survivors where you can mute it I don't need to hear the fifth Steve in a row who brought scene partner with the other two Steve's in the match. Killer I get I need it since every bit of sound counts but just please let me mute because I don't want to hear it. I know I can't prevent someone from playing with it but I just need to rant about it because I was losing my mind since in the words of a famous video game villian.
"He did the same joke three times already. I don't think it's funny anymore."

I hate it even as killer because people will spam it constantly. It makes me want to tunnel that person out so they shut up

I got twin Steve's with Scene Partner in my lobby this morning. I think the third teammate got annoyed with them and DC'd because of it. The Killer killed the Steve's and then the bot, and then let me crawl out the gate (since somehow we did manage to finish all the gens, lol).

I will always love Scene Partner. Long live fun.

If I play Survivor again, it will be Stegull

true, it's annoying

The only thing I hate about this perk is for some reason almost everyone using this perk runs a flashlight and they inevitably end up messing up their own flashlight plays because at best they tell the killer someone is nearby and help the killer avoid it and at worst it activates right when they go for the flashlight save causing them to be unable to aim the flashlight due to scream animation.

I'm on the fence. Sure at times I will be "Just shut up already!" While at the same time I find it amusing seeing a survivor just screaming like they are having a breakdown.

I love and hate this perk.
I laughed more about this perk than I ever should and I lost more games to this perk than I ever should.

Deal with it, killers also can make survivors scream uncontrollably with Doctor/scream perks. Survivors having access to it isn't a bad thing.
DBD needs more fun, not less of it.2 -
Yeah and typcally survivors are annoyed by constant screaming…
Thats the reason Ultimate Weapon got changed if I remember right.
So… I wouldn´t say it is fun for everyone.

Bloody annoying heaving 4 Steve's screaming at you.

OG Ultimate Weapon had some ugly synergy with things like Pig's traps. Opening lockers and just moving between boxes could make it impossible for survivors to get their traps off. My guess is that the change was done to avoid problematic synergies and to scale the power of the perk back a bit.

scene Partner is just asmr
ever hear the saying "don't look a gift survivor in the mouth?" well, i forgot to take that advice. each new survivor i get, I get them to open up like I'm a doctor and they go "aaaah" as I check to make sure they are healthy.
I've used this build way before anybody did, back when people were disrespecting Nic Cage. Funnily enough Steve was my first patient, but I can confirm Lisa probably has the healthiest set of lungs in the game.and Sheva.I wish I had the Alan Wake dlcs:(

Well if you belive it or not… Scene Partner does exact the same without the frequency.
But yeah maybe my example wasn´t on point. So let me give another. Phantomfear was kinda hated for the same reason. While it does nearly the same as sscene partner.

the difference is survivors actions are hindered by screaming, the killers aren't

I don´t see your point here.
Yeah Survivors get hindered… so they take a perk that makes them scream?

Scene partner can be good in chase, but yeah, I don't use it anymore. It shouldn't be able to innterupt actions. Too many times I've been going for a hook save and I scream mid-save like a dumbass.

just don't look at the killer

By their choice in trade for an aura read, yes, and the screams in this game are funny.
If you can't see the point then it's whatever.1
