Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Does anyone actually like playing against new Myers?

    I rather enjoy it.

That being said, there's been things killers don't like versing for years that should be at the front of the "adjustment" line instead of a killer who was literally just updated.

No... he just dashes and can activate his tier 3 without exposure anymore. I messed up and planned out my defense wrong, thinking that I would just take a hit. I heard that Myers was adjusted, but I haven't played the game much recently. I feel playing against him is more boring now. They basically made him a Chucky with better instant down abilities.

    I’m mixed on him.

Am I glad he is finally a lot better now compared to before, absolutely, but they turned him into another dash killer, when we have plenty already, it feels stale and repetitive.

His power is somewhat like Chucky’s but a lot clunkier in a way, but he’s not as weak anymore, in the right hands he’s pretty good I’d say.

I wish they came up with a more unique power for him instead of another dash ability, but with the removal of the chapter coming, his current state we will probably have to get comfortable with for a little while for sure.

Ofc not! Only counter against him is to pre drop and hope it stuns which is so hard because his dash speed is too fast similar to Pig

I don´t like the shift of the suprise when facing him.

When I played Dbd before his rework it was always a strange atosphere in the voice call.

    "Someone had Terror Radius yet?"

    "No…"

    "HOLY S*** ITS MYERS"

    Now its more like.

    "Urgh… again the Terminator?"

While he happyly shredds through pallets.

I liked the old counterplay against him more. Trying to deny him line of sight was something which always felt different from other Killers. Nowadays you are seen like 5 seconds and he pops tier 3 in your face.

Honestly I can see why people hate him now. He is almost always in Tier 3, and there is not a lot you can do there.

Plus the immersion is ruined by the many audio ques, the glowing knife, and the fact he has to come closer to stalk you.

i don't particularly enjoy him, playing both as and against. i don't necessarily have a problem with his lunge, more so just the fact that the time it takes for him to down you in tier 3 makes it really difficult to adapt to him in chase.

he also shreds through pallets fairly quickly, akin to demogorgon and the chainsaw killers. i think this would've been fine if they at least made it so after he breaks a pallet he just throws you in deep wound if he hits you within a certain window. unfortunately i'm not a myers player, so i don't know what would be good or terrible for him, but i think his chase pressure is a little much.

I honestly agree with you. He just feels like a stronger version of Bubba to me which I love. Bubba is my favorite killer to go against because he's not all that complex which to me is nice. A good Bubba has the ability to mindgame loops while still giving you the ability to run him effectively. He just feels like a well balanced killer gameplay wise. He forces you to understand how to properly greed pallets and how effective windows can actually be. I like new Myers just how I like how Bubba is.
