Yeah… exactly what this community needs. A game where you torture others and desensitize to human emotions… with lots of lots of gore…

hmm that kinda sounds like another game where there is a big baddie chasing around 4 people and injuring them and gore in recent dlcs i cant think of the name tho hmmm

But the first trial requires you to repair 2 gens…

Brother this game aint about sunshine and rainbows either

Already installed here. Game indeed seems pretty good for the few trials I've played.
Just need to find friends to play.2 -
to be real here if dbd was launched in the same year as outlast trials it would have allot more gore and "horror" aspects (oh and better netcode)

??? We're playing a horror game here. Are we supposed to cool down with Animal Crossing only?

I never said that the game is bad because I like it.
I just said that this community is often toxic as hell and maybe shouldn´t go for a break on a game which is designed around the same toxic things which are topics in this forum like "Harasment of Victims".
There is a reason why Matthew said try Civ5 instead of another Stressful game. It is to give the brain a break and see the human behind the opposite side and not a "I torture the enemy because I have too"

There’s a distinct difference between torturing other players and torturing NPC’s.
There might actually be some catharsis in doing it to fake people instead of real players.

I know what you mean. But sadly most of the playerbase in DBD Killers and Survivors do forget that the other side has feelings too. Best example for that is Tbags and humping. It is just a silly thing you can do but it can frustrated the other side and all you get to read is a simple "Well they should get tough skin" Thats not what you should say to a person. You can do to an NPC whatever you want (I never seen a Nemesis Zombie in this Forum claiming that it is hurtful to get the fist of god into his face) but I am afraid that the small degree between "Yeah take that NPC" converts to a "Yeah you deserve such thing Killer/Survivor for just existing"

I think the people that t-bag and hump do it specifically because the opposing side has emotions. It's provoking a response. Moreover, if humping a player is weird, then humping a bot is rather bizarre.
but I am afraid that the small degree between "Yeah take that NPC" converts to a "Yeah you deserve such thing Killer/Survivor for just existing"
If someone is susceptible to that, I think it's far from exclusive to Outlast Trials. Just about any PvE game could be cause for that escalation.

Just 1 if you're a solo gamer!

I love Outlast Trials, think it's a ton of fun especially when playing with friends. The community is very welcoming and friendly.
If you don't like gens though there are quite a few trials that require gens, and sometimes you have to do them more than once. The most recent trial you need to turn on a timed gen multiple times to keep from freezing if you're not quick enough.
