Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

New killer definitely needs bigger cooldown

We can just spam the power. It doesn't feel fair (unknown is literally crying).
This can create 2tapp scenarios too often.

It does feel very powerful to play as a Vecna… but kinda miserable for survivior if killer plays perfectly.

What kind of potatoes do you guys get on PTB? Sure he can spam it quiet fast, but they are also super easy to dodge if you are paying the slightest attention :D I predict His M2 is mostly going to be used to zone ppl, much like Phead does.

We tested it on group of friends with the lowest being 5k hours in dbd.

Also Knightlight was winning every game as Vecna against comp team yday.

Well, you can't really increase his cooldown too much, when he needs two hits to even start doing anything and it's not really that easy to hit power imo.

Possible fix for this would be to simply increase his cooldown during worldbreaker event.

I think increasing his cooldown by 1-2 seconds would feel fair.

I don't really agree. It's available often, but it comes with a big movement speed penalty for readying and casting it, so you can dodge it freely without getting zoned away from pallets or windows.

Faking windows/pallets is going to be a big part of countering this killer. It's like if Pyramid Head was always 110, and had longer range with less coverage (since it's a circle and not a trail).

I mean the killer hasn't really been practiced against yet. I have the feeling he'll go the route of Unknown/Springtrap where he seems really good for the first month and then falls off once people learn the counterplay.
