Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

So it's just Nurse, but better

The First can hit through walls, ignoring pallets and windows completely, but his power is easier to use than Nurse's blinks, as it always shows the "crosshair" and requires no charging up, you just click on survivors to hit them. His power is much easier to use than all of other killers' ranged attacks in the game, except maybe the Ghoul, who also can "click on survivors", but at least the Ghoul can't hit through walls. The First also has something the Nurse could never dream of: a good map traversal, probably the best in the game, even better than Blight's and Billy's. In PTB many players still struggle hitting with his powers, but when the collective skill level rises, it will be ez 4k every game.

Not sure where you're getting that judgement from, considering Vecna is slower (8m/s vs ~9-10m/s), has a much longer cooldown (35 seconds!) and takes ~5 seconds to reach normal walking speed after starting his Undergate Attack, which you have a very good chance of avoiding if you run in a straight line.

It's objectively worse in every single way. He just has a more dramatic entrance.

You don't need to use it more often than once every half a minute. You hook a survivor and need to return to a contested gen on the other side of the map, that's where map traversal comes into play, so you will always have it ready when you need it.

I can't tell if this is rage bait or if you're just bad. I've been playing the new killer a good amount. I think he is incredibly fun to play as. I've also gone against a good chunk of people that have juiced the living heck out of me. He is nowhere near as good as Nurse or Blight. Heck I played a match as Twins, my favorite killer, who is much stronger then ST Vecna and I had 2 people DC in my match. I've had 0 people DC against the new killer. He's power is pretty consistent to dodge, he's movement ability is like 45 seconds or something and is almost impossible to hit somebody with unless you catch them off guard or in a bad location. He moves at 110%. I mean he is honestly a great balanced killer. I think he is close to what the standard power level of killers should be moving forward. Maybe a little less strong and you're perfect.

So your whole argument is that he is fine because you personally were juiced a lot while playing him. That's the problem with the new killers: on PTB few players can play them efficiently due to lack of experience, so their killrate is "fine" and they go live being one S-tier after another.

Alas, no point discussing further, as the devs already flagged the thread and made it unbumpable. So explaining how a new DLC killer is a little bit too strong is not the kind of feedback they intend to take into account.
