How I'd Nerf Vecna (2)
This post is NOT a request to nerf Vecna 2. It is also not a statement of him being overpowered or not. It is a request, that if it should be needed according to the community, that I'd wish it to be done in a very specific way:
Right now, Vecna is a very unique killer, and I think it would be sad if any nerfs took away from that specialness. One of the sad things that could happen is that people request the nerf of his main power, which would turn him more into a zoning killer, and for anyone familiar with The Knight, zoning killers aren't enjoyed all too much
So here's how I would nerf him if the decision was made to do so:
Vecna can no longer infinitely hold his main attack. After 3 seconds it fires automatically if not cancelled. This way it can no longer be used as an infinite zoning tool where the killer just holds their power to move up to the survivor and hit them with m1 after cancelling it. Considering that the survivor has to dodge, it would be unfair if they had to dodge continuously while the killer didn't have to make any commitment to actually using the ability or cancelling it, further making it a zoning tool.
That way, we keep Vecna fast and firing, and highlight the parts that make him unique, while preventing the unintentional effects of zoning, that affect many "infinitely holding ability" powers when it comes to mindgames

he doesn't need nerfs tho since if he spams he's slowing down every time at best his iri add-on can get nerfed but he has counterplay

lmao here we go. new killer, ppl asking for nerfs :D Ive been playing PTB survivor all day against vecnas and if you arent a complete potato, they are so predictable in where they will do it, just dodge it. bait them etc. Every time he misses he slows down massively, hold W… he has to drop chase or use his upsidedown mobility to catch up, which is also impossible to hit if survivor is not complete potato.

Friend, you can't have a post titled "how I'd nerf vecna", start the post by saying its not a call to nerfs and then expect ppl to not talk about nerfs. Literally everything in this posts suggest you want to discuss the upcoming nerfs. I've been here since 2016, I alrdy know BHVRs procedure on releasing new killers, hence I dont buy any characters anymore. I have been slapped in the face a few too many times in that regard ;)
Either way, all I wanted to say about it is that this ST2 chapter is probably the most balanced in years. But still survivors cry for nerfs alrdy, and content creators are clickbaiting/manipulating them all into their "omg S tier" vids. Its rly sad.

Nothing new in the Fog.
I saw people scream OP about 5 out of 6 of the new perks.
I think Vecna will be perfectly fine with a small nerf to either the vine cooldown or how much tokens Worldbreaker Mode needs (one or the other though, not both)

The only nerf he needs is the brown addon that destroys pallets and kicks gens for free… that will be a meta addon 100% in every build if it remains a brown addon. His power is totally fine. I would argue its value goes as high as irri addon stuff, but I guess purple would be fine too.
Just had a match where I was in range of both dropped pallet and gen… emerge from the upside down… poof, you can instantly start your chase, no need to kick anything. Thats rly powerful. Cause you are only going to use the undergate as a mobility thing anyway, literally nobody is getting hit by that unless they have no clue how it works (like lock themself in animation while its happening).
