Bring back Glyph Challenges

Bring back Glyph Challenges. All different types of them.

The daily tasts and the Rift tasks are so boring, and over and over and over the same (repair generators, unhook, heal). Please bring the glyph challenges back.

Kill all survivors before a single gen is finished …. reduce gen rush and make maps smaller.
Often you spawn in a corner as a killer, and when you cross the map the first gen is done.

    I absolutely agree with op.

Being a killer main it's so boring doing the same daily challenges

    Hook 5 survivors

    Sacrifice or kill 3 survivors

    Damage 5 gens

    Break 5 pallets

    Earn 30k points

Variety would help and definitely bring back the glyph challenges.

I would 100% agree that the Challenges are a clear Downgrade from before. Not only are the challenges less interesting, but it also does not really feel rewarding to do them. I basically dont even look if new challenges released, e.g. I only realized that there is a challenge to do 20 Skill Checks in one game because someone on the Forums wrote about it. Before that I always checked the new Challenges when a Tome Level opened.

And while you had to go out of your way to do some of them, it was still fine. Sure, some of the very early challenges were too tedious or required unfun playstyles (e.g. hooking 4 Survivors in the Basement, which can only be done by proxycamping), but I liked that you had to think which Killer to pick for some challenges or which Perks to use. Now it is just "play the game".

And this is where I disagree with Glyphs - I think outside of the purple one, the orange one and the white one, they were also only "Play X games". Red Glyph was done in one game, same with Blue Glyphs. And green Glyps were X games until you finished it. Purple, orange and white offered something unique, but I found purple quite annoying. I liked orange as an extra challenge, but thats about it.

Would not hate if they come back, but I hope for more improvements on the challenges to make them interesting.

Agreed. I understand they probably don't want to subject people to involuntary glyphs, but in which case make an Optional Quests tab. That way folks can select when they do it.

I would love to see the return of Daily Rituals. The daily tasks are only repeats with the same goals, over and over again.

I miss the variety, like "Unhook 2 survivors safely as Claudette Morel" or "Kill a survivor by your own hand with The Ghost Face" for example. Rituals that gave a decent sum of BP to complete, and incentiviced you to play a variety of characters on either side.

I believe the full challenge list was something like this:
Unhook 2 survivors safely with X-survivor.
Open an exit gate as X-survivor.
Collect a new item and escape the trial with X-survivor.
Chase someone for 180 seconds with X-killer.
By your own hand, kill 1 survivor with X-killer.
With X-killer, hook survivors 8 times.

And there could have been many more:
With X-survivor, hit 10 repair skillchecks in a single trial.
With X-survivor, heal yourself or other survivors for 3 total health states.
With X-survivor, take two protection hits for other survivors.
With X-survivor, be chased for a total of 120 seconds.
    With X-survivor, sabotage 1 hook.
With X-survivor, stun or blind the killer 1 time.
With X-killer, hit survivors 20 times
With X-killer, down 2 survivors with your power in a single trial.
With X-killer, break 5 generators in a single trial.
    With X-stealth killer, perform 1 gen-grab on a survivor.
With X-killer, break 20 pallets and breakable walls.
With X-killer, hook all 4 survivors at least once.
These are just examples, and would have been feasible for the daily ritual system.

There were also yellow and pink ones, but the yellow ones are kind of the same with a merciless storm duct taped to them, and pink ones were rightfully removed.

But yes, some improvements to Blue and Green ones in particular would be good.

The green glyph challenges were a bit tedious and dull but the yellow ones were fun.
