Lobby Dodging
For those who lobby dodge (survivor or killer), what are the red flags that make you go “next?”

If I notice the majority of team have red ping tag in the lobby
5 -
If i see multiple flashlights or if they are using the same survivor i have a red flag with skip because its a bully Squad or swf. Im not that good at the game and just want to enjoy the game. I dont like bully Squads because I hate the feeling of being Made fun of

4 of the same survivor or no items or all flashlights
3 -
Twin survivors with flashlights, and players with inappropriate names.

I skipped last night for the first time in a very long time in chaos shuffle because all 4 had a flashlight and the exact same outfit.
I don't skip obvious bully squads on my own perk choice but not when I could get random rubbish and be bullied all game.

Tbh Im starting to be more cautious with having survivors that are from different patform (the people playing on console or epic have this above their name in lobby) which means there is higher chance that (especialy survviors but i mostly beware this as killer because thats what are cheating survivors going for to ruin killers game and mosty saving other survivors) they are cheaters.
Survivors with very simular names (like: weskers princess, weskers dog and simular bs) which is clear indication they are in swf but I dont doge them because these swf players are usualy normal and they dont hide it (by their names), the ones that dont show it are more toxic and way more sweaty from my experience.

High latency + lots of other people joining and leaving. High likelihood it's a cursed server where for some reason the game decided to put everyone on one where they'll have 120ms+.
Aaaand that's basically it. Only other reason would be if I saw someone I know for a fact from a previous encounter is a cheater.

On survivor, only if I know a person on my team is going to throw/give up/cheat from playing with/against them previously.
On killer, if the lobby is clearly a backfill one with new players (low hours on steam on everyone, globes with default outfits) and also of course if I know one of the survivors is a cheater from a previous game.

When I play killer, I’ll dodge 4-toolbox SWF lobbies because I’m a pretty casual player and I have no interest in ultra-sweaty comp matches.
When I play survivor, I constantly have to dodge the brand new players that I get paired with because the matchmaking system is so broken. I check Steam profiles for hours played and I frequently get players with under 100 hours.1 -
multiple non-steam players in a lobby. its almost always going to be a bad match. it's like the punishment matches you get for escaping like oh i escaped the previous 2 matches, now all the people i get matched with are console players who aren't even bringing items. lobby dodging doesn't even seem to help, you just keep getting paired with console players until you finally give up and enter the match only to predictably be facing the 10k hour pc blight with console survivors that can't survive 5 seconds in chase. and it's unfortunate because it makes me play worse because i end up bringing clairvoyance or something to at least give me a chance to escape once every else is dead.

If I have been in a previous match with them and they have played in a less than favourable way to put it nicely

bloody prestige cosmetics, default cosmetics, ugly cosmetics, key in hand, map in hand, no item in hand, obvious duos (they always throw or double gens at unnecessary times), little check of hours— if you have under 800 hours i’ll probs dodge too, anons get dodged, trevor belmont/gabriel soma gets dodged, red bar next to name gets dodged :3 i hate dbd i guess,

The most obvious answer that comes to mind: 1 or more survivor(s) leaving the lobby… this causes a wreckingball of leavers, cause anyone who understands how the game/mmr works will not want to play that lobby anymore.
Comp players: cause they are an absolute joke and a blight on public matches. Go "practice" in customs with proper rules and opponents that match the sweat. These ppl should have a bit more humility and awareness. I've played against some of the most well known comp players in this game over the years and every time I just ask "whats the point?". They got clock callouts and if someone is on a gen within view distance of a chase, they will even callout the mindgames… whats the point playing such a match?
After that: comp skins piss me of a lot too. Cause obviously they are in it for the sweat and humiliation on the other end. Some skins have such incredibly low audio that you might aswell have ironwill as basekit… Same goes for killer side btw, like Elk huntress… maybe its my old age but I literally cant hear that skin until they are literally hugging me. I hope the price of that skin was worth all the dc's.

Ive had instances before where I play a match and then the very next lobby i get into has some of the same people I just played. That's the only time I dodge because its boring to face the same people twice in a row.

It is a bizarre phenomenon that needs to be studied. Why are console players on average worse than pc players?

I personally had a great time VS the same SWF survivors once when I played Chucky and the last one cost me my adept trophy. The very next match I decided to play Huntress and got my revenge with a 4k against them 😁

Depends on the survivor.
If they all rock toolboxes, im about to get cooked.
If its flashlights ill be confident knowing that they will never touch gens.
