3GEN PROBLEM

explain to me why i get those gens so close to each other, is this a joke ? some maps are really small and awful for survivors(ESPECIALLY CORN MAPS! WHICH ARE REALLY BAD), but this case of 3gen in Crow is next level, if versing a billy or any top killer on this map is game over already, the kick limit wont help u there, especially if the killer have good 3gen powers or builds, this is ridiculously close and bad placed gens! ive seen many like those btw, honestly this feels like playing in a small room.

There is no such thing as 3 gen anymore, the killer can't kick them more than 8 times, so by the middle of the game the killer runs out of kicks, and you easily finish them all in his face, while teabagging and laughing at his futile attempts to protect the gens after that patch.

Always leave main building gen for last. Then you will never 3 gen yourself. :)

I understand completely what you need. Devs, consider starting every survivor on a different map forcing the killer to travel via space ships that take the time of 1 completed gen to reach the next map. Only allow 110 killers on the roster at this point to ensure if there's a glitch in the space ship that said gen is still safely completed. Probably best to cut gen time in half at this point as well, 23 seconds or how ever quick it is in 2026 just isnt short enough. Have a good day.

i dont think u realize how close those 3gen are. this isnt ur average 3gen case(also killers can sit on their 3gen from the start if they want to), gl playing against singulariy/billy/twins/nurse/blight or any killer on those 3gen, i normally dont have too much problems with 3gens, cause u can teamup and push the gens slowly, but u have killers that already break the game without 3gen, and beside that u bring them those gift of a 3gen is not really a healthy move. either nerf the top killers or rebalance the maps for both sides, people who defend this 3gen spawn are really deluded, and killer already have a dsync advantage on hits, making this game more miserable for survivors, ive seen recently more pallets are being removed secretly under the radar, like in hawkins and such maps, gen spawns/hook spawns/ map size, pallet spawns and sizes, all of those should be rebalanced, or even be made differently for each killers used.

When I play in my group of friends (we are most of the time 2 or 3) I kinda always teasingly mock the random when the first gen which pops is the safest gen on the entire map. Stuff like the Saloon Gen on Dead Dogs or a complete corner Gen like swamp.

I just want to get the thought behind this. If I rush the safest gen on the whole map (best with a strong toolbox) than only the hard ones remain at the end? What is that logic?

This wouldnt be so an issue if our teammates wouldnt cowardly do corner gens only.

But...even in swfs people refuse to take some courage and bother with middle gens.

Its not OPTIONAL, its a MUST, otherwise i WILL be upset, i WILL not bother to fight a 25min+ 3 gen YOU refuse to avoid and i WILL call you ignorant, especially when you know that 3 gens are avoidable but keep doing it and refusing to learn, but also make your teammates suffer.

I very much hope bhvr makes these survivors literally handheld to stop doing corner gens but blocking corner gens until 3-4 gens left, because i shouldnt have to do that all on my own.

Back in the day you needed to strategicaly think which gens you will do because leaving 3 gens especialy on 1-2 gens left was suicidil act that mostly cost the whole team loss but nowdays I see so many people dont bother doing some gens that need to be done firs or just stick on one side of the map and doing them from corner to centre with is super bad play that can backfire hard especily against strong killers played by experienced and skilled players.

Isn't that the new Eyrie? It's literally the worst map in the game. You're better off not even trying to finish the gens unless the Killer is friendly, in my opinion. Otherwise it's designed to be an easy stomp.

corn maps are prob the worst ones currently for survivor, especially if u play against top tier killers.

I would put them closely behind TWD map, Forgotten Ruins, Haddonfield for another week, and yea, that Eyrie map. With the 3 gen setups that can spawn on Boneyard, I really don't think there are any survivor sided maps left other than The Game and Badham.

On that map specifically? Break totems and hook farm. It's incredibly small and incredibly limited, yet somehow still has a hill. 😵 Genuinely not worth the effort at all.

hook farm? meaning? sounds like avoiding the objective and not engaging in normal gameplay to me….

Are we still complaining about getting 3 gen when killer tools to hold a 3 gen indefinitely have been nerfed and there's a limit to amount of times a killer can regress a gen?

Normal gameplay devolves into hook farming all the time. 😵

Genuine question—how often has the average Killer hit the kick limit without a regression perk doing it for them?

debatable, avoiding the objective is technically reportable, certainly forbidden to encourage on these forums. hook farming could be seen as intentionally getting hooked (go next) which is again forbidden to encourage on these forums.

That's a very hefty assumption to make against me. I don't find it very conductive to conversation on the thread and it could be seen as derailing. Please refrain from doing this in the future.

i apologise for possibly derailing, please do not encourage unsportsmanlike behaviour in future.

There are so many crutches now days for survivors it's really a skill issue if the survivors 3 gen themselves and even with that, there is only a limited amount of time you can regress the gens.
