When i play survivor, no one does gens, but when im playing killer 2-3 gens are popping off as i've downed the first survivor, gen speeds are way too quick, and this is coming from a person who majority plays survivor most of the time.

im actually forced to tunnel a survivor to have stand a chance to even win, the game is easier to win with 3 survivors than 4. So make hex ruin base kit

gen speeds aren’t too quick bro it’s shouldn’t take you longer than 80 seconds to find and chase someone from the moment you spawn in, perks are there for a reason bwo why do you think everyone runs windows, run lethal and bobs your uncle you’re instantly on someone’s ass, shouldn’t take you too long to get the down either.

    play more

Sometimes I wonder if I am playing a completely different game, when I read comments like these. As someone with thousands upon thousands of hours its beyond me how someone would go down fast, unless its blight/nurse. if ppl are split on gens, every single match will have 3 gens pop by the time you hook your first.

I play survivor equally as much as I do killer, so I know how easy it is to just waste time against the majority of the killer roster. Why would anyone go down in 80secs on a map that still has 100% of its resources up? I'm actually such an a**hat that I choose to deliberately run in the killers view to take first chase in order for this to happen… If the killer sees me and chooses to chase me, they signed up for a loss.

I'll never understand why survivor is so easy to me while at the same time I gravitate more towards playing killer as a solo. Oh wait… its probably because survivor is easier :D

That's unfortunately how it is. If the survivors know what to do they can split up and when you do eventually win your first chase 1-3 pop since it's impossible to pressure more than 1 survivor at the start of the game. More common to happen on slower killers only real way to to have a chance is play a killer that has mobility or run lethal.

Very first chase of the game is the most important as it'll impact the flow for the entire game and with all resources on the map survivors have the advantage.

  • No, you just need to apply pressure around the map. You dont understand. Applying pressure doesnt have to be just tunneling survivors out. Moving around and patrolling generators like an NPC is applying pressure too. Just apply the pressure, killer’s that simple

because like everyone in dbd claims, the majority of survivors are garbage and cant last 5 seconds.

"Just apply pressure bro". Sorry to break it to you, but not every killer is blight who can contest a gen across the entire map cuz he can actually get there in less than 10sec.

Not to mention how since the pallet updates many maps are filled with decent filler pallets that one can predrop to play it safe. Playing as Myers trying to get a down in reasonable time on smth like Shattered Square feels like an impossible task.
