No, but this just goes to show how this new item that was hyped up back in August has been completely forgotten by the devs. No changes for 5 months straight, and they're not even usable in the loadout for Chaos Shuffle

I mean in a way ur kinda telling the killer where you are with the cloud, though using it is still better than giving them Lethal. You should run Object or Distortion with a fog vial in case the killer does have it, then you can stealth your whole team

- Fog vials are a joke. When I'm playing Killer and (very rarely) a survivor tries to use one against me, I almost feel sorry for the survivor. It just doesn't do what it says—you can see perfectly well through the fog.🤣 It's like a medkit that doesn't heal, a flashlight that doesn't blind, a key that doesn't open the hatch... wait... no🤣🤣🤣

if they don't want us using them they should just remove them from the game. just extra bloat of useless junk in chests and the bloodweb.
and by the way with the removal of the old styptic and syringe the survivor bloodweb is in its weakest state in the game's history. i don't spend bp on survivor anymore, no point to.

Don't get me wrong, old Fog Vials were actually pretty broken. Infinite uses was not fair for the effect that you got at the time. Now, you have a measly 2 charges (should be 4) and the visual opacity and audio distortion got heavily reduced, plus Potent Extract got nerfed into the ground. the fog effect is also only good on certain maps too, and weak on most others, it should be a healthy middle ground

- Despite being the most ridiculous item in the game, why aren't they affected by perks like "build to last" or "exultation"? Are the devs afraid they'll become too op? The default token system should at least be removed IMMEDIATELY. And don't tell me it's a very difficult change to implement; using a fog vial consumes HALF the total charge... voila, one of the MANY problems with fog vial is solved. Keys and maps work with tokens, but have (if I remember correctly) 5 charges by default.

What should be done is to rework them to provide the same effect as the Void Crystals. Neutral on every map.
Make them have three charges, and keep the cooldown as is.Alternatively, make Potent Extract have the Void Crystal effect instead.

Same with key and map addons they needs a good buffs that worth to run compared to toolbox/medkits, especially iri addons for maps and key are trash, blood amber for key shouldn't be seen when I use because if it's Nurse she can just blink on my free aura than I gave her or new ST Vecna

It's a broken item (as in flawed not OP) and its pointless working on it until the fog opacity is unified on ALL MAPS so it behaves the same, actually functions properly and can be properly balanced.
But lets be honest, barely anyone will run anything but medkit and toolbox while they are so broken unless other items are equally overpowered. Those two items will forever have a stranglehold on survivor items until they are actually rebalanced and nerfed so other items can exist along side them meaningfully, and thats just a fact.
