What do you all expect. I'm honestly shocked we got anything at all. Ill take the 250k but its a bit insulting to the player base but unfortunately it will never change. If they gave everyone 2 million blood points for example with a new killer release coming next week then it would let every player actually get a couple of prestige levels for free and we don't want that now do we XD

As I would never use them and they only took up space, I am pretty fine with even this small refund.

Same. Since they nerfed map selection chances, the offerings were considerably low value anyway now. IMO they should just retire all the map offerings, they're just clutter.

They could have not given anything at all too. So I'm fine with them giving something at least.

Does anyone have either of these gems left in their inventory, even though retired? I didn't know they had ever existed until yesterday.

Yes these small map offerings, I think they were taken away so you cant have them in your inventory (I believe) just like yellow mori.

I have from old times just some splinters for pig and nightmare (killers I didnt have back then).

Yes I do. I have some on Claudette and Meg. I would have had some on Dwight but back then you lost all your items and offerings when you prestiged a character.

Last time they tried compensating for individual offerings it got messed up horribly and some people weren't properly compensated, so flat BP is what we do now.

Even then they compensated 1 mil for cypress mori's. Why the sudden 3 quarter mark down?

I love how when there's an outage for a game mode for a couple hours they compensate millions, but a map offering that's been in the game for 10 years that people have spent millions on in total and likely not having used them all? Best than can do is a 250k.

Nothing new theyre picky with compensation for retiring. I guess theyre even unable to code something thats worth calling compensation.

Even some big name creators are up in arms over this. Watching one now that did the math, the amount he had on Haddonfield offerings across his entire account he spent like 5.5M on them.

Even a million would be better than 250k.

They seem really tight with BP now. I don't understand why. You'd think with them always trying to gain new players and the ever expanding roster they would be more generous.

I remember a time when they were constantly giving out BP codes. I almost never see them now.

I've been playing since 2021 and I don't even have all prestige rewards unlocked on everyone. So I doubt there is much chance of a new regular player maxing everyone out overnight.

I have not seen any universal BP codes since before they started "Operation Health"
Any BP codes we get now are weird, stringy ("xxxx-XxXxx-XXXX" for example) and personal. Those that you get in your newsletter. Most of which is hardly more than 100k BP or something small like that.

250k for the retirement of the Halloween chapter felt like a smack in the face.

On the topic of being stingy with rewards, I have not seen many Bloodpoint weekends or anything like that at all this year. Not since the Blood Moon event in the spring. No 2x/3x weekends whatsoever. - Or rather, after the new quest system came into place. That is when BP and shard rewards got demolished into oblivion.
The advent calendar was a letdown as well.
And finally, the move away from percentage based to multiplicative incentives.

Before, you'd have +25%, +50%, +100% etc, up to +400% (5x), which also applied to event bonuses and tome challenges.
Now you have 1.10x, 1.25x, 1.5x etc, up to 3x. A significant reduction, that does not apply to anything but the normal gameplay-earned BP.

When we lost Stranger Things people were pissed about the map offering reimbursement not matching what they spent. Instead of learning they repeat and again people are frustrated. For years players have been asking for some sort of trade in system for unwanted offerings. Since I doubt this will be the last time BHVR loses a license they should get on implementing a trade in system. Let players trade in the offerings for a fair reimbursement instead of repeating these stingy reimbursements.
