I’m sure that all of y’all already know that The Krasue has vanished and has already gotten overshadowed by Vecna two the squeakquel, and I think there’s a variety of reasons as to why that is. Don’t get me wrong, but I love a lot of things about this killer. Her lore is great, her music work is phenomenal, and even the folklore that this is based off of gave a lot of room for creativity for her power to be designed. So can someone tell me why the hell she’s so generic? Like I love this killers design so much but she feels like a store brand cereal version of a dash and infection killer, her gameplay just doesn’t offer anything unique compared to her compatriot’s. If you want a mid range, infection killer play Nemesis and Plague, if you want a strong dash killer take your pick from the ocean of dashslop we already have. She’s genuinely a nothing burger of a killer and that just makes me sad. Please, for the love of God and make this killer stand out from the rest. Please papa Bhavior, do something to give the Krasue an actual unique identity so that she isn’t just another dash killer.

    Ive been playing her allot lately. Of all the killer ptb's for some reason i played over 10 trials as her and genuinely enjoyed the playstyle. Every other ptb id try the killer against some bots for 1 or 2 rounds and then wait for the release to play them. For me what stands out about her among other killers is the fact that she goes from projectile infector to hardcore chase mode that feels like you are playing some crazy flying fish. Unlike dracula (my other main) you don't have to constantly swap forms mid chase so it feels more like a chase stage 1 - once infected it becomes chase stage 2 which becomes more intense.

    Another thing ive noticed is when she was released she was so busted that all the elite streamers spent most of their time just saying "shes unloopable" rather than showing how to actually counter her because she wasnt nerfed yet. So once she got nerfed and people stopped playing her, she became so rare that noone got a chance to learn how to loop against her solo, making her unique in the fact that most people you are chasing in headform barely know how to get away from you or counter attacks beyond body blocking for eachother.

    So now that the hate has died down from before the nerf, and now shes rare unlike kaneki, ive found her to be a very comfortable / fun killer to play that gets good results most of the time, and unlike other killers, if the survivors are winning - its actualy a fun challenge because they usually get mowed down.

    And the cherry on top is all the nice colourful cosmetics and customizable head form so you see your floating purple hair and stuff while chasing people lol

    it’s great if you really enjoy the Krasue and don’t let me stop you and I was actually excited for her due to the marketing surrounding her, but there is nothing in her gameplay that stands out to keep me going. Actually if the discussion gets 10 likes I’ll get Krasue to P20. And I won’t cheat by using characters I have anniversary offerings on.

    I love the krasue as well. Been playing her since her release but she definitely needs some love. I dont how you can change her currently without her being as strong as she was before. But also not in this bad state now

    I know that pixel bush suggested the idea of intestinal whip being a grab of sorts where her intestines would wrap around the survivor she hit and then would bite down on the survivor after a few seconds sort of like hound master.

    Honestly for me, it’s just the lack of mechanical identity. Like her character and music design are top notch, good lore, and her voice work great. But there’s almost nothing that’s unique to her power wise. I guess the mushrooms kinda count, but there’s no real reason to use them anymore since leached gets removed upon hooking so there’s no reason to actually interact with her counter play.

    I never even got the chance to face her lol but i love playing as her, even after all the nerfs. Yea she feels a tad bit clunky, but in all honesty, prob a hot take but i enjoy her very barebones and basic power. Very casual fun to get the hang of.

    and don’t let me stop you from playing her, I main skull merchant enjoy what you enjoy my guy. that and I did say that I would grind this killer to prestige 20 without cakes if the discussion got like 10 likes so…

    Actually i just reached that mmr with krasue where the game goes from enjoyable with occasional losses to just getting stomped no matter what you do lol. Like the counterplay ull see is you can barely spit on anyone, because they know which loops you cant spit around, they will always have a backup body blocker whenever someone sees a person get spit on they fly over to help. And just generaly twice as hard to catch than usual lol. They also will always capitalise on the fact that you have to focus on 1 person at a time, so they can spare the 1 person to help while the other 2 blitz generators barely gaining hooks.

    Ill still keep trying but it kinda shows that every killer no matter how strong can go from enjoyable to miserable if you play them too much lol

    I still play her, I've wanted a "transforming killer" that swaps between set up and chase for ages.
    It's just that any remnant of "macro" she had with mushrooms is non-existent due to infection being removed on hook, pallet vaults are slow you down so much that shack is impossible without Bamboozle and there are just better dash killers.

    She has a lot to be desired for anything outside of chase.

    I had an idea where instead of removing infection completely on hook, you just reduce it to 1 charge (like Wesker), so that survivors remain infected after hook but can't be damaged by Intestinal Whip until they reach Tier 1. This gives Survivors incentive to go after mushrooms giving the Krasue slow down similar to Wesker and rewards her for multiple infections.

    MintSkull had the idea of reverting her number nerfs but adding in that she can only vault over pallets that she has infected.

    Ever since the Krasue anti tunnel infection removal when unhooked destroyed any sort of infection management or priority while it's important to keeps those changes so survivors won't get tunneled off hook we need to change some things to make her interesting again.

    1. a great idea was Infection transfers to the unhooker that should be included

    2. Mushrooms are much to plentiful 4 mushrooms spawn naturally and Krasue when changing forms also spawns mushrooms. A good change would be Krasue no longer spawns mushrooms and mushrooms only start spawning after someone gets infected so survivors can't already have mushrooms on hand in the beginning.

    3. Leech 2 is non-existent a good survivor always cleanses before getting to Leech 2 so leech 2 now accumulates faster.
