why are self recovery anti-slug perks not available in chaos shuffle?
unbreakable, no mither, and boon:exponential aren’t available to get in chaos shuffle. is there a reason these aren’t available? i understand no mither because it was actually ruining matches in previous versions of chaos shuffle but exponential and unbreakable are outliers. self inflicted anti tunnel perks are still in the mode (DS, OTR, bloodrush) so why aren’t self recover perks allowed?
i also just checked on the killer side and it seems the only perk not available in chaos shuffle is A Nurse’s Calling. why is this not available? just seems like a weird and questionable group of perks that aren’t available.
if you have any suggested reasonings for these not being available in chaos shuffle i would love to hear it because this is something i’m really confused about.
edit: just found out tenacity, soul guard, and plot twist are also unavailable in chaos shuffle. seems they really don’t like self control anti slug perks in this mode for some reason since wglf and buckle up are still in the mode. it’s contradicting though because conviction is in the mode and that perk allows you to pick yourself up but maybe they think it’s ok because you go back down eventually. who knows atp, the devs really need to start throughly explaining their reasons for these things.

I understand no mither as you said it ruins games (although is very funny when someone gets it with a self heal perk ngl)
for Boon Exponential and Unbreakable i wouldn't know. My best guess would be that in a swf any self recovery can lead to very long games if a swf wants to as all it takes is players going down in a boon while others with a flashlight show themselves meaning killer can't pick up but thats a very out there theory
As for A Nurses Calling my best guess is because chaos shuffle you can't guarantee anything having killers pull A Nurses calling means potentially no healing for survivors which would make the game kinda unfun especially if its a mobile killer-3 -
Given the recent problems with extreme slugging, and the essentially shelved anti-slugging/anti-tunnelling changes, I would really like to know what possible justification the devs have for launching a game mode where the few incredibly situational anti-slugging perks are excluded.
The devs aren't beating the 'not caring about survivor experience' allegations anytime soon.
I personally wouldn't mind if A Nurses Calling was in Chaos Shuffle, but if Killers get the full pool of perks, Survivors should also get the full pool of perks.

There's a good chance you're right about that, but given the situation, it does not reflect well on the devs that they didn't say anything about it.
Actually it doesn't reflect well on the devs that they never say anything about any of the issues the community raises, or the reasons for their often asinine decisions.

if you hover over a characters perk’s in their bio page, it will say “not available in this modifier” if you come across the few perks unavailable in the mode. here’s a screenshot of what it looks like to view tenacity while in the chaos shuffle queue:

I would like to know why they have been excluded too as I've been tracking my matches and haven't seen them at all.
No miter is understandable but it is a big double standard if the logic is anti slugging is unfun for killer, so are plenty of killer perks that are still in but only one killer perk is banned?
I really hope other comment are right that its leftover from basekit anti slug testing but conviction is allowed and that would not explain nurses calling being out.4 -

I feel like if we're excluding perks and addons for the sake of "oh this just a bad perk so let's not add it in" that kinda just ruins the joy of chaos shuffle?
Like it's the gamble if we get good or bad perks hitting the unlucky no mither or getting a meta perk? If we're just excluding all the mid perks then where's the fun in that?

Agree its Chaos if you get No Mither with self-heal perks thats part of the fun. :P

Yeah the chance of perks going against each other is what makes the mode interesting.
If it's just okay I got all good perks again and again and again no chance of hitting a bad perk like what's the point?

Nurses is banned?
Who the hell decided this, that perks is very mediocre for info and only works on few killers not to mention its true strenght are way gone since selfcaring nerfs where survviors were healing in corners of the map so this perk had some use but nowdays this perk isnt that good because vast majority of healing is done under hooks after unhook.
In this mode all perks should be enabled because is random mode and even if that perk is good you can still get other perks that are super bad or doesnt work with it.

same reason hillbilly can get counterweight (anti-curve add-on, makes him unplayably bad) for some godforsaken reason

I think the cancelled run of CS was supposed to be early/mid July of last year and we got a longer Anniversary instead? Conviction wasn't out at that point, so that's yet another sign that all the banned perks are just holdovers from the iteration that got scrapped.
