For the Survivor, you'll vote to Change Your Fate and decide between the two faces with the most votes. You’ll also vote to select a moodboard for this Character.

Maybe if people wanted to play them bhvr could invest more in them. As much as people hate sable (they make my soloQ experience a nightmare) she is an example of a perfect survivor release. Look at haddie for example, lore-wise very important, allegedly an important character and people said she was gonna be a hit due to her being unique and so on… she flopped harder than concord. Now sable appeared out of nowhere with some wattpad ahh lore and its now the most played survivor.
This is an issue I have always had with the forums and dbd twitter, they complain that community skins/votes are always towards similar stuff, my brother in christ of course the votes will look similar to what people already like, the majority of people who play the game like that stuff, why would they vote for something they dislike?
TlDR; community has showned they dont like male survivors, community vote shows male survivor doesn't win, is it really surprising?

BHVR knows what sells is the thing. Vittorio sold really well and we all know why. Same with Sable. When they release characters that are "unique" but let's be totally honest—unattractive—they aren't going to do well. Even though I personally believe this poll was rigged and the chapter has already been in production far beyond what we see, it was obvious who was going to win. It all starts with BHVR. If they make content that's doomed from the get-go, we can't be held accountable for not getting it. But if they put effort into maintaining some level of consistency, it wouldn't be a problem (in my opinion).

Honestly, I wouldn't be against a male survivor, maybe someone established in the lore?
Like Julian (Mikaela's lore, taken by the Entity in the lore) or Jordan (Haddie's brother, who honestly could have been taken alongside Taurie), or even Renjiro (Oni's father, who is getting an odd focus in the tomes)

Definitely. It was nice when there was a pattern to these things since it felt like they were hitting more marks. Now that they're catering to one specific audience, we're all bored.

I'm actually kinda content with the #1 design being picked, and I do hope #2 is a legendary skin at some point.
The only thing I can say about #3 losing, is the fact it would have been REALLY funny if it won and was dubbed 'Andross' by the community.3 -
#3 is very interesting. If the grimoire didnt had a theme of divine i would have definitely picked it.
I do hope they keep that design because they were cooking something.

I remember showing a friend who doesn't play the game these designs and when he saw #3 he asked, "Isn't this already in the game? The one who can have a horse head?"
