Please dont nerf Henry or give annoying cooldowns
He's already slow and you have to be perfect to hit survivors who run for distance. Cooldowns are the lamest most boring "fix" you can do. Id be down to requiring 3 hits of vine or 1 hit of undergate or whatever its called. Which is already time consuming as it is.

I sympathize with your desire to keep a strong Killer strong; however, The First does have problems that should be addressed: inaccurate hit-boxes, inconsistent speeds for his vines, and unpunished Power-holding. At the very least, the first two issues ought to be rectified.

It's a licensed killer who just got released, he is immune to proper nerfs for the next 2 years, so you have nothing to worry about.

It was a symbolic nerf, as to this day he is an S-tier with low complexity and skill floor.

Not surprised to see so many downvotes. This is very typical here on the forum - a lot of players whose first reaction to anything difficult in the game is “it’s not a problem with my own gameplay or inability to learn something new. Other side OP and bad”. They don’t play that killer to understand how nerfs will impact you - and honestly they don’t care. Most won’t even respond with a comment to explain why they disagree with your opinion. Just the typical anonymous downvote bomb lobbing.

The community, unfortunately, has been, and continues to be, of an "us vs. them" mentality. The notion of someone having a viewpoint that simply cares about the health of the game is frequently foreign to quite a few heavily-biased people.

The dude has guaranteed hits and slowdown. If you want bigger cooldowns to not be a thing, then hitboxes need to be smaller. Why does he get 5 minutes of power always damaging? Why does interacting with the clocks still give him about a minute and a half worth of power? And when its gone, why does he only need 1-2 hits to get back into that power again?
It's literally THE problem with Kaneki. I dont understand why they dont remove the clocks and just make it basekit functionality instead if it's that easy to trigger and interacting with it doesnt grant you anything to get rid of it. If it exists, it should have purpose. The clock mechanic does not have purpose right now-2 -
From what I've seen, I agree. To be fair, the OP didn't really phrase his plea as something interested in health of the game, but more like killer player experience. Essentielly they say "please don't nerf the First for the following reasons". Downvotes would/should also happen, when people simply disagree.
However, in this forum the whole sentence "I don't want Henry to be nerfed, because he is dumb" and "Henry should be buffed, for the following reasons" will likely amount the same amount of dislikes as the OPs post. Where as a post simply stating "Henry is dumb, nerf him" will possibly attract more upvotes.

In my personal opinion he seems to be a tad too strong, because he is so full of skills and his vine attack appears to be a little too fast in respect to the audio cue. But that is more a nuance question. In any way, I think it is far too early for any kind of judgement to nerf or to buff.

I agree he’s still super annoying and unfun to go against. But it was a noticeable nerf vs the original version.

Yeah because killer is always the one getting shafted a week after we spend our money. It is for the health of the game as well. They dont even ask about killer satisfaction in their surveys, only survivor opinions. Ghoul didnt even need cooldowns tbh. He cant even down people with his power. Most survivors are just trash at this game and dont understand fundamentals of chase. All you have to do is run tight loops and he'll never catch you. Its only when you try to leave a safe loop is when he catches up. Like blight but worse
