Why are so many indoor maps weighted?

Is this done to help stealth Killers such as Ghost face since map offerings are not a thing anymore?

Are the indoor maps being tested?

I saw in another thread that midwich is confirmed bugged with pallet spawns atm and creating deadzones but its still one of the top weighted maps?

There is currently a 32.9% chance to get a indoor map every time you get a match, goodluck to Billy players.

The only map that should be weighted IMO is Hawkins due to strangers things dlc.

My best guess is that The First came with a new Stealth Perk, Secret Project, and they're either testing it on those maps to see if its OP/needs a nerf, or Just giving Killers who want to use the perk the best opportunities by upping the frequency of maps where stealth is best utilized.

those maps have been boosted for like 5 months now. even the devs acknowledged it on a community stream back in october and stated they were gonna rework the map/realm repeat prevention to make it so all 5 players queue up for a map they all haven’t played in a while. ultimately there hasn’t been a word since then from the devs so it seems we’ll be stuck with this boosted rotation for the foreseeable future.

I feel like it's definitely just weighted for vecnas release. which I'm really happy about, indoor levels are my favourite for both sides. I used to take map offerings for them all the time.

    • In this game, players can't choose the map because it's "not fun"... but Devs can send you 10 times in a row to Midwich, Laboratory, The Game, and the wonderful D&D map that everyone loves. This logic makes perfect sense.
