Why are DBD players so obsessed with trying to force other people to play with them. OP's suggestion would make games 10000% more miserable on both sides and really, BHVR should let Survs see eachothers perk/item loadout with all names being anon until the end of the match screen. Imagine Killers, with the system OP suggests you wouldn't be able to equip certain perks based on what items the Survs are bringing.

Lobby dodging messes with the matchmaking, which is why it's bad and needs to be reduced.
Outside of that context it's just a bit annoying and something people do for silly reasons, but not a huge issue. The fact that it messes up the matchmaking is the main problem.

im thankful to be on console, because checking survivors hours is genuinely sad.

Yea I'm not sold on lobby dodging messing with matchmaking, there hardly is any sort of matchmaking anyway since BHVR got rid of ranks factoring into SBMM. OP's change would only ruin matches and match quality. It mostly seems tied to players wanting to force others into playing with them.
