2v8: Chucky is now better than Legion

Since Chucky can now do a 180 in the middle of Slice & Dice, he is basically a combination of Blight and Legion w/o any of their negatives. Sorry, but this was a stupid change.

    How is he better?

All he can do is get one healt state injure easier than in 1v4 with his dash but this isnt something crazy like weskers third dash with cooldowns of almost ghouls or blight with speed and faster recharge or draculas all powers buffed.

Yeah he seems ok like only big difference is dash distance that is 50% longer which is now from 14 meters to 21 so two wesker dashes in straight line, his turn rate speed is increased by 10% so I doubt he can 180 flick thats fake new and his hidey hode mode is longer by 15% plus he breaks pallets when he scampers under them.

No power recharge speed so its 14 secondsas in1v4 and his dash speed is same and these two things are more inportant than majority of things they gave him in 2v8.

He is fine in 2v8 only problem there is that there seems to be a bug that makes him be able to hit his base attack twice in one go. Seen it person myself and seen several videos of it. Of course don't know if it really is what is happening on the killer point of view but for survivor he performs two basic attacks in a row.

chucky is in the garbage as a killer and the only way to be good as chucky is through trial and error which requires aloa lot of losing and people wanted to nerf chucky just because when in reality he had a shaky power to begin with that makes him a pure m1 killer with his hide ho mode only really effective with an addon because it only last like 20 seconds and you may ask why is that bad?

well his mobility is garbage and the only way to efficiently travel the map is by slice and diceing and hide hoing across it and when you reach the survivors you get kicked out of your power because of how long it took you to get there.

ngl some of his add ONS should just be base kit like a longer hide ho mode because when I play chucky and I hide ho on over to survivors they already know I'm there because 1. my chuckling is so loud 2. hide ho mode last so short in the long run because its like oh my terror radius disappeared so they know I'm there or coming.

i don't only have this problem because when I go against chucky players who are good at playing him if you use all the info I just said now you can easily dodge him and win.

unlike other killers you have to be good with chucky and be unique with the way you use his power because its easy to comprehend and beat chucky because its not really effective..

but unlike other killers who have easy to understand powers and easy to dodge abilities but are hard to beat because the power is just effective no matter how you look at it.

I’ve gone against a couple Chuckys in 2v8 so far. Either they were just bad at the game or Chucky is very weak in 2v8. Either way, I didn’t have any problem with him.

Let's stop pretending Legion were ever good in 2V8 as anything other than a support character. They were fun to play as, but very weak unless you got lucky and The Entity matched you up with a solid teammate who could mop up after them.

Heck, even Trapper is currently better than Legion in 2V8 right now on account of the fact that you can actually play as him in the mode 😔

I loved being the first person on the frenzy chain I was rather proud to delay the teamwide slashing. only time I didn't like Legion was when somebody else was up to bat, but maybe that's because I'm biased as a Legion somewhat main. I usually play scout and tried to keep him perma revealed so we can prw run him and then I gladly smash him with pallets that I just rebuilt later

I'm a fellow Scout enjoyer too. I once used the same pallet to knock a Legion out of their power 3 times. I'm sure they didn't appreciate that very much but it was certainly pretty funny to me. I definitely think maining a Killer (or at least having some personal experience) can change a negative perception into a more positive one, at least a tiny bit. I'm not saying everyone would suddenly fall in love with the Killer, but if more people had experienced the high of getting a final hit down with their first iteration more people would at least understand their appeal. It was the most fun you could have playing Legion.

But the deed has been done and they've been benched. It does kind of feel like the longer they remain absent and the less we hear from the devs, the less chance they have of ever being added back into the mode.
