Am I the only one playing killer in 2v8 and always getting genrushed and having 7 or more survivors escape? Seriously, this has become the rule for 99% of my killer marches in 2v8. And I played many killers in this mode. Spirit, Wraith, Legion, Wesker, Nemesis and Blight. And the result was almost always the same. The vast majority of survivors escaped on almost every match. This is the worst version of 2v8 experience I've ever had. I have to wait for 20 minutes to find one lobby only to get genrushed and the match ends in 5 minutes... If BHVR objective is to make me stop playing killer, congratulations, It's working. Not even on 1v4 I get genrushed this much. Sorry if this Just sounds like a killer mais weeping, but guess what? I'm a survivor main. And I mostly play solo. I like playing killer as well, but I play rarely do to having faced many SWF.

Every games a gamble tbh. Since theres no mmr, theres no telling if your next game will be winnable or loseable. Its based on the experience of your opponents and teammates. Though the gamemode is survivor sided on paper and in play

Have you or your partner tried killing at least 1 of the survs?

7+ escaping is an awfully high number when there are two killers... Assuming you aren't just meme'ing around with survs and are actually focused on your objective??

I've played 4 or 5 matches as killer (with a random teammate) and around 20 to 30 as survivor (again soloq).

In the killer matches won three without the gates being opened (3 gens, 3 gens, 1 gen remaining). The other one got absolutely smacked around and had an 8e, though I and the other killer played really poorly so it was well deserved.

Survivor has felt a little under 50%, having a harder experience than last time with the bots.

As a solo Q killer in 2v8 i can only agree if my teammate is not a S tier killer it literaly impossible to win a single match.. like i play trapper it as so much potential if my teammate actually make pressure but all the time, i see him getting looped at a corner of the map where there is no gen and it honestly annoying knowing they are all literally at the opposite of the map…

Right now the meta is Nemesis + Any killer (those zombie are so good)

Have you tried oni? If you can start chaining rages you get a lot of quick downs. Also nemesis is much better now with the 4 zombies.

Also you're best to play with a killer team-mate in voice chat, a bit of coordination goes a long way in 2v8.

These will help but yh 2v8 can be rough for killer. If survivors are playing in 4 stacks gens will fly. You'd be surprised how well 2 killers can hold down 5 gens at the end though. I usually play nemisis with my mate who plays wesker. And we had only 4 hook states at 6 gens finished and managed to secure a full 8k by guarding the gens hard with a little help from my zombles. Regression is very strong in 2v8. Simple gen kick and guard for a bit and ypu can fully regress a gen from 80%

Depends highly what survivors and killers you have plus map. First survivors if they have few hours its just way easier, if they have few thousand hours than it will be hard because these know something about getting gens done while how they can loop and about each killers counterplay.

Killers is second like trapper, nemesis, ghostface and slinger can be good but they require perfect plays from the player that plays them, worst is trapper because he can lock the area but his trade off is 2-3 gens done while he is setting up, nemesis kinda still sucks and ghostface plus slinger if they are good can do something. Pyramidhead is kinda meh, he can be good if you dont miss but his range got only 15% range buff which isnt good on killer that gets destroyed by holding W in mode where this is very common.

Other killers are great due to having more mobility like powers with good antiloop so they are more flexible but they are to hidered by some maps like nurse and blight are kinda cooked by larrys while ghostface is god like on larrys or billy gets hurt by larrys too.

Honestly i dont see me winning any match with ghosty or trapper without a nemesis the gen rush is so freaking annoying… i might just wait 2v8 to go off and come back after.. 35min of waiting for 5minutes of gameplay pretty annoying…

I dont think the problem is the gen rush but the amount of ultra safe pallets in the map. The amount of safe pallets are so broken i dont see even a reason to use the scout skill to repair a broken pallet. The game already hands you down so many pallets that survivors are just camping pallets.

Thats why the only killers are decent are the ones that negate that like Nemesis. By the time you uncloak as Wraith the survivors either sprint burst away or are at a safe pallets

And then you have the skills for survivors being in general way way stronger then those of killer like a 30 second cooldown for team sprintburst? Compared to the 60 second cooldown for brute skill lol.

Just like 1 v 4, if you’re playing to win then you can’t just spread hooks fairly without any strategy. You need to get 1/2 survivors out by the time there’s a few gens left or you simply will lose.

You need to hook same survivors primary (cage) because for each cage they get 2,5% repair speed bonus so having 10 cages while all are alive compare to same number of cages when 3 are dead is astronomical difference, you basicaly gave same repair bonus to survivors but there is less hands(people alive) that could use it on gens to get them finished.
