Should nemesis get an extra zombie in 1v4?
Playing nemi in the 2v8 has got me thinking. His zombies feel a little bit pointless in 1v4, especially on the larger maps, it's always annoying when you see them just vibing in a corner of the map where gens have been finished, not doing anything useful. But I've been having a blast in 2v8 with 4 zombies wandering about, hassling survivors and causing all sorts or mischief.
Especially since a lot of his add ons are geared towards using his zombies. I think a third zombie in 1v4 would make them a little more consistently useful. It's not like they're hard to deal with for survivors, but it would be nice to use them more to add pressure in chase and put passive pressure on gens. Perhaps an increase in the zombie respawn time would be a good counterpoint to this buff
Wondering what people think? Reckon it would be too much?

Zombies are already annoying in indoor maps with hallways that can make them basically unavoidable. Taking one or both of them for a walk is already slowdown.
But the real question here is: if you have 3 zombies and Nemi it stops being asymmetric and is 4v4. Are you really wanting to balance this character that way?

The zombies are the worst part of Nemesis power. Getting an extra zombie could be something or nothing, depending on the maps, the spawns, etc.
If they are going to give a buff to Nemesis, it should be onto his main power, not on the more inconsistent part of his kit.

He should be able to turn the survivor into zombies.

Tbh I'm not fussed about a mainline buff, his tentacle power is fine. it's more about making the zombies a bit more of a presence in game. Yeah they're inconsistent this'll just help with that

Maybe they could get better with extra movement speed, extra detection, etc etc. But i don't believe one extra zombie would bring anything good to the game. Also, we need to remember that BHVR said that extra zombies "break the game" so its possible that one extra zombie would break the game for consoles.

You do realize there is already four zombies on 2v8 so seems to work totally fine for consoles.

Every time Nemmy hooks a survivor, the zombies should get some sort of buff for like 30 seconds. 10% movement, immediate survivor detection, who knows!

Two are enough, though they should have their A.I. improved more.
If he needs buffs, it should be to his base power.

The entire issue is that when a Zombie tries to hit a Survivor, it doesn't matter how fast the Zombie is moving, they lose all momentum once they swing. Meaning they'll never get hits in on Survivors with half a brain. On outdoor maps especially, they're just useless. Fix the AI so they don't get stuck on sh and maybe increase default movement speed to help with pressuring gens.

to be fair switch isnt really that great of a console… especially since the switch 2 exists now (doesnt help that BHVR doesnt have acces to them thanks to nintendo not making allot of DEV versions of it…) @JPLongstreet

Yes, let's have Nemesis chasing one survivor all the while all three other survivors are forced off gens by zombies, that sounds great

made a post about buffs/ changes to Nemmy that I'd think you'd like as well:
- Whipping Generators: Tier 2/3 Tentacle Whip should damage Generators as if they were kicked
- Shattered S.T.A.R.S Badge (add-on change): 150% increase movement speed for zombies are always active
- Survivor Zombification (new added mechanic): If a survivor dies by any means while contaminated they will respawn as an additional Zombie they can control , if they choose to leave they will not receive DC Penalty and will be replace with a zombie Bot. (survivors controlling zombies can earn additional BPs for Zombie events: Attacking survivors, bodyblocking Nemesis/other survivors or feeding Nemesis mutation), vaccine chests respawn.
- Iridecent Umbrella Badge (add-on rework): Nemesis starts the trial at Tier 3 Mutation but zombies no longer spawn (excluding Zombified Survivors)
- Cerberus and Licker add-ons: add-ons that turn zombies into these enemy types. Maybe the licker has increased detection range or can detect based on sound (running, grunts of pain, vaulting) while having long range attack but moves slowly on the ground/walls/ceiling). Cerberus could attack like Houndmaster's Dog, holding them in place and despawning after survivor knocks them off.
- Zombie Mori: If a zombie is nearby a survivor in the dying state Nemesis can hit a button prompt for the zombie to mori the survivor without nemesis having to be near (survivor controlled zombies can also mori survivors by walking up to downed survivor and hitting the "kill" prompt).

Interesting suggestions. Not a fan of some of them, 150% is way too fast for a constant speed buff, the different zombie types are interesting but dbd would have to get licencing to use them and i doubt they'd do it just for an add on or two. And mori, maybe if it's in a situation where the survivor could be morid anyway, i.e. last alive or offering.
But I love the tentacle whipping generators idea. And survs cming back as zombies is a fun idea and gives players killed early something to do. But that could be open to abuse for survs trying to help their old teammates so maybe remove collision with nemesis and limit it to one per match for balance. Tier 3 at start is maybe too strong, so maybe tier 2 and only pne zombie perhaps

nemesis isnt weak killer, hes a mid killer, why give him more zombies? there is literal no skill involved u get free info and free gen perks, 2 is fine as it is.
