Oni is too strong and too common in 2v8.

Still not as annoying as Legion.

Totally missing my point. The point was, they showed that enough complaints can get a killer Kill Switched in 2v8, and that is a problem to me especially since that's the point of this entire thread… They got The Legion removed, now they are setting sights on The Oni.

Too many one-hit downs for the mode, honestly. Players can't be trusted to play casually with it at all. It's one of those things where you either have to beef up Survivor abilities to compensate (full chaos mode) or scale it back so that it's manageable without forcing a steamroll. The mode still feels more balanced than the main game but it would make it feel better overall.

Yeah for me he is probably more better than trapper, nemi, slinger but he is weak here like 30 seconds isnt that big time and his reveal isnt best if survivor reveals you by 70% you hid you will still get revealed behind the object even if you hid and all he does is giving exposed for 30 seconds which only helps few killers and has lvl 1 blood lust when he is in stealth mode which can be broken by revealing him by looking at him for 3 seconds, he isnt that great unless you get larrys or your buddy is very good wraith, ghostface can be good but if survviors are good loopers and team him he is just done.

Oni is fine in this game mode, so would Legion if they put him back in

I'm gonna have to disagree about the legion statement as someone who mains medic class and has faced legion when he was still in 2v8 60+ times even when we had like 4+ medics on the team Legions short cooldowns and ability to chain injuries for long periods of the match it's was impossible to keep the team healed even with the medic double up instaheal.
Legions ability to keep the entire team injured was that oppressive where us medics were basically useless in the match.

We aren't trying to get him kill switched he's just needs some balancing. legion is a special case where his design just isn't good for a 2 killer setting.

I have a better experience with Billy then with Oni probably because his instadown has reasonable limits you can actually dodge his saw cause he has turnrate limits unlike oni that can hit you from any angle

I feel like people forget legion had a super fast mend time in 2v8 because I still saw tons of people claiming they were mending simulator which was not true

The mending was fine the problem was the constant keeping people injure

Medic was the main reason I've seen people picking Legion. Now that he is gone, the other killer who can pretty much just bypass having to hit people twice (or chase the on-demand sprint burst) becomes popular. I do agree that in a vacuum that Legion is very powerful, but in the current 2v8 meta, he works because he has to deal with equally powerful survivor classes.

That's fair. But it's also difficult when you have to contend with dodging him and Oni on your tail or extra zombies blocking the path. A lot of downs feel like there's very little counterplay which gets old fast.

I hardly see Oni. It's Nemesis game after game. He's just annoying in genral. I'd take an Oni every match over him

Going against Oni is beyond frustrating, he is almost always in power and has his dash ready, not only that you can't even stealth against him since killers now have chronic aura reading + the fact that your blood orbs give you away. The fact that they made it so easy for him to turn is just basically the killer playing on cruise control. You can't 360 him or dodge him, and that is not to forget how awful most servers we're being put on are, so the killers always get the hit-validation even if you have stunned him, or are 6 meters away from a window.
Give me Nurse, Billy and Blight ANY day.
