One thing i’ve learned in DBD…
Survivor mains (not all) are mentally ill

As a survivor main, I agree

as someone who plays both sides almost equally, I've had more killers be unhinged and tell me to end myself. But i won’t lie this game has a lot of unhinged people. Thing is when you think about the current affairs in the world it could be stated that we’re just dealing with a lot of insanity and hostility anymore. People just hate each other for the stupidest reasons. No one can agree to disagree and just move on.

I see a lot of hate on both ends but it’s more on the survivor side, I’m just going off my experience and some other members of the DBD community. A lot of it is in post game chat and social media. I know it’s bad in online gaming in general but it feels like DBD has it to a whole level of toxicity. And it seems like no matter what the devs do to try to make the game fun and balanced, we will always have a deeply divided playerbase.

you see it more on the survivor side because each game has 4 survivors to 1 killer so the odds are more likely to have a salty survivor. Its easy to say 1 side is worse than the other when you see 4x the players on that side per game.

i agree the same cannot be said for killers because we all know they dont have brains anymore bc pallet stuns :)

Bad (unhinged) players are on both sides. I often see those who are prone to BM'ing as survivor also do it as killer if they win, and being snarky, saying "ez" in the chat all the time. But they also are not afraid of flaming the end-game chat when they lose.

Well its almost always 1v4 so in more cases its 4 peopel roasting the one guy.

Not fair but logical and another fact is people tend to stand for theirs (members of their group) more than for a stranger so even if one survivor will have beef with the killer others will come to his aid and bs the killer too its just hive behaviour one ape throws stick so others repeat.

When someone says “that’s fair”, it means they understand your reasoning. He’s not saying what they do is fair to do.
