Lobby dodging is getting ridiculous. Please give us a "quick match" button.
Since this new iteration of 2vs8, I have been seeing constant lobby dodging from survivors. I'm thinking it's because most of the casual playerbase is on the gamemode queue, leaving 1vs4 queue with mostly sweats, but it's getting frustrating.
Waiting for more than five minutes in a lobby while I see the same survivors come and go more than six times is getting far too common. I have had lobbies where more than twenty players leave before the match finally starts. I can excuse having long queues because of the 2vs8 mode, but waiting for minutes on end because survivors are lobby shopping is a completely different thing that is artifially prolonguing the time a match takes to start. The moment you see a bloody faced Nea or Ace, or a Claudette with a "comp" outfit, you know they are leaving, only to see them come back and leave again, and it happens in more than half of my lobbies. It seems like hiding prestige wasn't enough. They see a globe? Dodge. They see ping? Dodge. They see less than one thousand hours? Dodge. They can't stalk someone's profile? Dodge. Meg, Sable, Leon or Lara? Also a dodge. They see anything other than a toolbox or medkit? Dodge. The reasons are so insanely dumb it's truly pitiful at this point.
How do I know why they dodge? Because sometimes they even state it in chat before leaving. The only possible excuse is if you recognize or suspect a cheater. Then go ahead, leave. I play with globe or anonymous players all the time and my matches are completely normal, but sure.
This is only going to get worse once we can see our teammates perks in the lobby. You have a fun build with non meta perks? No fun allowed.
All I want is some kind of "quick match" button where we skip directly to the offerings screen. No need to separate it into a different queue either, just incorporate it into the normal queue. I don't need to see who my teammates are or what they bring, seriously. We can have that in the Tab Menu once we can see our team's loadouts in the future. Half of the time I'm just watching something while the game starts anyways, otherwise I feel like Homelander in the movie theater everytime I load into a lobby and see this pathetic display of "wannabe comps" for lack of a better definition.
If they want to uphold their toxic stereotypes to not hurt their egos and to waste their own time, let them. But please let the rest of us save some time and have a less toxic experience with a simple feature. I just want to play my favourite characters/perks without having to worry about having an artificially longer queue. Thank you.

I don't foresee lobby dodging going any time soon because it would affect Killer more than Survivor. While it might be less common for them to do it in 2v8 because of queue times, it's constant in 1v4.
Also 1800 posts woooo 🎉

Not until they remove cheaters and fix matchmaking. In other words, never.

i admit to lobby dodging, but only on two conditions.
1) there is a known cheater
2) i’ve played with someone in the lobby and they have either quit, sandbagged or were just not someone i never want on my team again. Why should i be forced into a game with people who let you die on your first hook?3 -
How would you know if it's a known cheater?

played against them before, some stream themselves cheating etc.

These are two very valid reasons, any other reasons are just not justifiable. Either way, you could just not use it if you want to be more picky from time to time. I am too sometimes after some rough losing streaks. Having an option to skip the lobby for those times when you just don't care would be nice either way though.

Some names are unchanged since epic give away (I would post some short from epidemy but I alredy got slaped for it from mode for shaming so sry) or he just seen that palyer before.
I doged one too when I had a girl (vee) in that when I saved her on saloon she used medics ability to heal the rest 50% of the bar for saving the time and than I just saw her run to broken pallet and rebuild it from scraps which can only scout do I was like what the …… but nothing new in DBD I just didnt saw this type of cheat in 2v8 but I think its like survivor having 20 perks in 1v4 on their character equiped.
2v8 in particular hides ton of cheaters because of that chaos and busted abilities its very hard to spot someone just speeding with 10% haste or having something else.
