friends till the end possible problem?
Just something I've noticed over the past few months, friends till the end generally ends up on the person on death hook, literally just had a match that confirmed it for me with a tunneling killer (this doesn't really bother me as if you wanna win, you wanna win. yes it can be ######### for the survs but it is what it is) friends literally made the person with most hooks the target, surely this is not intended? has anyone else noticed?
like I say I've noticed it alot over the literal months

While it is a random selection as to who becomes the next obsession with FTTE, keep in mind you can prevent FTTE from switching the obsession to you by being in a locker at the time the hook action occurs. So especially if you are on death hook and the obsession is about to be hooked, it's not a bad idea to hop in a locker as this will force it to choose someone else (or not switch at all if there are no other options).

I always hop in a locker prior to avoid my aura being revealed should I become the obsession. I didn't know it stopped you from becoming the obsession, I just thought it hid your aura. So then you won't be exposed either since you're not turning into the obsession?

Oh I clearly know about hiding in a locker as I've done it b4 to nullify furtive chase , but surely it should be completely random if no 1 gets in a locker? this is what I'm saying about it , it always goes for the person with the most hooks, surely that is a problem?
If no1 gets in a locker it should be random not the person with the most hooks,.

I feel like it always does this as well, and I wish they'd rework it so it went to the person with the least hooks instead. As it is, it feels almost like a tunneling perk.
The problem might also be that people who aren't on death hook are in lockers so the other person is unlucky. The best thing to do is not go in a locker if you're in good shape and someone else isn't, but people aren't keen to become targets voluntarily.

literally the game I just had no1 got in a locker, this is what kinda confirmed it for me, I know no1 got in a locker because it was a 4 man

I could always be wrong but I think it's a coincidence or bias on your end. I've been using FTTE for a good while and the Obsession ends up whoever the RNG tells it to be.
In an "ideal" scenario, the person with the most hook stages becomes the Obsession 11% of the time. That's not all that low of a chance.
If they ever did nerf it though, limiting the Obsession candidates to people with fewer hook stages is a cool idea.

I don't think it's a coincidence. I see it a lot and have talked about it with others. The amount of times it goes to someone who was just unhooked is as ridiculous as it is predictable. I was just now in a match, sitting on a gen with a guy with two hooks when I had none and it went to him, and I knew it would.

- "Friends Till the End" is perfect as it is, but its "obsession" logic is simply flawed. If two players have DS equipped, Friends Till the End will continuously switch between those two players, in a sense encouraging a sort of pseudo-tunneling between two people.

From my experience its completely random. With the locker counter its also perfectly fine. Everyone knows when the perk is in play, so its really low effort to counter.
The problem i see is that many survivor dont know the aura part. Maybe they should use the aura-revealed-icon from 2vs8 (i dont mean for every aura perk, but for perks which get shown anyway)
