Should Resident Evil be the first IP to have three chapters?
Resident Evil speaks for itself everyone knows the series well enough to know its place in pop culture and horror in general. With RE9 now out and it selling 5 million copies it is safe to say the game is at least a success profits wise, but is it truely deserving to be added as the first IP in DBD history to have three chapters representing it? The first two chapters were major for the game and were recieved quite well (unless you were playing on console when Nemesis came out) but is three chapters pushing it in terms of RE content in DBD? Imo we should at least get the RE9 Leon skin, i think that happening is the most likely option. BTW please do not spoil the game for those who have not played it yet.

I would rather see a variation of RPD in its destroyed ash filled state would make nice contrast to the pristine one. They could change the layout a little block some hallways bust new holes to the walls.

The only one i personally would accept is the one based on the re7-8 era. a marge or jack baker killer (maybe marge plague skin idk) but we already covered the original era and the action era of 5-6.

I would prefer they do legendary skins and new map variations rather then full blown chapter with new perks.
Not because of the franchise, I'm currently replaying number 2. I just wish they could focus on new skins and maps over new chapters so they can rework some of the older perks and killers who need it without having to worry about new perks and powers every couple of months.

Would not be opposed to that, as long as the Chapter itself brings value. E.g. just bringing Lady Dimitrescu for the always horny DBD-Community would not be enough value, if she does not bring interesting gameplay or anything like that.

I don't know about should, but I think they easily could.
What we have so far spans the first two eras of Resident Evil, the OG era represented by Nemesis and the middle era represented by Wesker. If they went for the third, modern era of DBD with something like a Jack Baker or a Lady Dimitrescu as the killer, that'd definitely work out.
I imagine we will definitely be getting more RE content of some kind after Requiem did so well, but it may just be skins. I'd be down for that, we inch closer and closer to getting an Alex Wesker or Moira Burton skin…

I would love Victor and Grace to be in DBD
There's a lot of potential for Victor to have a power related to his oculus knockoff and maybe an RPG (he seems to use them multiple times together, plus it'd be cool to have a killer with a actual gun, and an explosive one at that) Or his final boss powers when he absorbs the purple lightning and grows a tentacle arm.
Grace could have perks relevant to uncovering details and maybe the first survivor to bring a gun into the trials, like a single bullet Requiem to stun the killer once per trial, and some aura reading abilities
For a potential map, I'd love to see either Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, or ruined Racoon City Streets or even ruined RPD (though probably not cus most areas were destroyed and devs wouldn't know what to replace) Even ARK would be a cool indoor map

I dont think we need any more chapter from RE. Its a game series in itself, if people are such fanybos, just replay those games. There are stil a ton of good horror licences out there, so we really do not need a hoarding of RE chapters. Give people comsetics, I couldnt care less about that. But hell, no more chapters.

I wouldnt mind a 3rd Chapter, but honestly part of me would like it to be something similar to All Kill Comeback where its a rework to Nemesis with a new RE map and new Survivor. Idk who theyd pick, but there are plenty of em.

Jack Baker or Lady Dimitrescu as killer, turn one of the RPD Variants into the weathered down version seen in Requiem, and add Ethan Winters and Grace Ashcroft as survs. One of the easiest Ws to add to the game imo, this would go hard.
If they wanted to also do some changes like AllKill Comeback, why not add some goodies to Wesker and Nemesis like new add-ons and animations? Long time requests like lickers, a rocket launcher, or a flamethrower would be such a pleasant surprise.

Still hoping for Moira Burton, Sherry Birkin, Ashley Graham, Helena Harper, Lady Dimitresqu, Rachel Foley, Barry Burton, Mr. X, re5 Chris Redfield, maybe even characters from outbreak file 1-2, and atleast 1 new cosmetic for Rebecca Chambers to make up for ada and wesker getting more.

-Spencer Estate
-Raccoon City itself (Uptown/Downtown)
-Clock Tower
-NEST
-RE4 Village
-RE4 Castle
And sorry the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care centre is way more iconic than the destroyed RPD lmao-1 -
There are so many great options for a new chapter and a collection of skins, but the downside is that the community is expecting new IPs. If BHVR isn't planning another chapter with Capcom, I just hope they don't leave the Resident Evil collection behind. It's the only collection I can really afford to spend money on.

Hell she could work as a legendary skin for knight. She has 3 daughters, he has 3 guards. Would work pretty well.
