Freddy Fazbear and the other animatronics

I understand why Springtrap was the primary choice for the chapter's killer, and ive heard "Scott doesn't want the other animatronics as killers because they are kids" arguement before.

But I have to wonder why in the Five nights at Freddy's movies and games, all the other animatronics kill people. In the movies they all kill atleast someone maliciously (biting their heads off or beating them to death or throwing the cupcake at them to bite them to death etc). So why is that allowed by Scott, but in the game of dbd is the only place they are not allowed to be "killers"?.

Infact if he were so adamant about the other animatronics never joining dbd, Cote and the team would've told us right at the chapter release to not get our hopes up and that he doesn't want them in the game even in the future. But they never said anything about that and even left foxy as some confusing never answered teaser for almost a year now.

So is there any concrete proof i missed somewhere that Freddy Fazbear / Bonnie / Chica / Foxy can never be added to the game? Or could they be a potential "tag team" killer chapter or skins or something someday?

The animatronics kill in the game because they are scared children that don't know who their killer was, so they see any adults as potential threats.

The context of the quote from Scott was the answer to a question about the movie and why so many scripts were scrapped, because they failed to portray the childlike innocence of the spirts possessing the animatronics. In the movie, this is portrayed before they attack the people that break into the pizzeria, so it gives some context to their actions.

Knowing that Scott is careful about things like this and how we didn't get many different legendaries on launch makes it seem like being a Killer doesn't fit how Scott wants the animatronics to be portrayed.

But we just don't know anything for sure, it's all speculation.

    Thank you.

My guess as to lack of legendaries on launch was down to Bhvr's budget. In that 1 chapter we got

    A new licensed map

    Springtrap

    Springtraps original voice actor

The yellow rabbit from the movie

    Matt Lilard's likeness and voicelines

    2 other outfits of springtrap

    Glitchtrap full legendary

Five nights at Freddy's t shirts for all original survivors

    Badges

    Banners

So i doubt they had the budget or time to go adding 4 more legendaries in the same package all at once.

As for the portrayal of childlike innocence i can see why theyd probably work better as their own chapter killer as bhvr would have to give them distinct animations to portray that innocence that wouldnt work as legendaries like how naughtybear still has to do everything trapper does.

They should all be poorly scaled models for the legion

Freddy Fazbear doing a fast vault would increase the game quality by an entire letter grade.

Off topic but whatever happened to foxy? I remember Cote saying quote "We didn't forget about foxy" but we're still yet to see anything of him. WHERE IS HE????
