I see a lot of content creators creating videos specifically about burnout as a Killer for one reason or another

Some of the issues raised in various videos:
- maps
-
pallets
-
MMR

What are your thoughts on this?
Here are a few examples of such videos:

I'm curious how people are feeling, because I've noticed this trend of burnout on killers for a long time, and now I see that it's just beginning to accumulate more and more and become public among content creators

My personal opinion is that you've already seen it, I believe MMR is the cause of all this. People have already stopped ignoring it because they're completely fed up with it

In addition to this, I would also prescribe a boost to certain maps that can intensify this feeling

It's a kind of "killer anxiety," and what triggers it for each person?
People give their own reasons in different videos, but some of them overlap. For example, three or more overlapping ones are MMR, pallets, and maps…

I'm curious how you feel when playing as a killer. Do you recently get burnt out from playing this role for so long that you only want to play as survivors or not at all?

Burnout on killer? lmao no. I'm having a blast.

Survivor? You bet. Between the constant quad slowdown Blights and Ghouls, hard tunnel fests, hopeless 3v1s, solo queue QOL and teammates, as well as general killer toxicity, coming back to normal mode after 2v8 feels like I came back from vacation and now I have to go back to work.

Killer burnout? Yeah. It's not fun being forced to stack slowdown just to get a game that lasts more than 5 minutes against survivors with a brain. So many killers are outdated and can't keep up with the base kit buffs survivors got over the years. And running a higher tier constantly isn't the most fun for me either. As well as the general survivor just not being good at the game but because perks play a MAJOR part in the game you can be bad but still get decent results in terms of time wasted. Just a shame no matter how much time you waste you can see your teammates… just not be on gens and cleansing totems/opening chests multiples times when its not a good time to do so.

You can tell its getting bad when queue times start climbing for survivor even on a friday night at least in my region.

I burn out on whatever role I play the most. It's like a see-saw. I imagine fulltime content creator's experience harder burn out than anyone because they have to keep playing even if they don't want to. They have bills to pay.

Your three Overlaps you mentioned also do apply to Survivor. Not only to Killer. MMR, Pallets and Maps are also frustrating points there. E.g. you can assume that the number of Survivor players who are happy to play on Dead Sands or Fallen Refugee goes towards 0.

I also always find the term "Killer Anxiety" pretty stupid. Because what the people who popularize this term want is basically a Killing Simulator, because the people who claim that Killer Anxiety exists also ignore that since the beginning way more Buffs happened to Killer and way more Nerfs happened to Survivor (which is fine, because Survivors were busted for the first years). But since several years now you cannot really say that the game is survivor-sided.

Personally, I dont really have strong feelings when playing Killer. In fact, I think it is more relaxing than playing Survivor. I have almost 11k hours, so I am way over the point where I get annoyed by losing in a videogame, especially because I know that the game sometimes decides to give you the finger and if it starts doing that, it will continue to try to piss you off. And if I start to get annoyed by the game by any means, I just quit for the day, because my mood is more important than the game.

But as I said, Killer is more relaxing for me, because as Killer I only have to rely on one person, which is me. And if I lose, it means that the others were simply better. But I dont have that as Survivor, obviously I can also lose, because the Killer is better. But sometimes I lose because other Survivors dont do Gens. And I get annoyed if other Survivors are following me to help me, ideally even throwing Pallets I could have used longer or just being irritating because you dont want to sandbag each other. And likewise, if I make a dumb mistake, the whole team might die because of it. This does not happen as Killer, if I make a mistake as Killer (which indeed happens, I am still overcommitting into Chases sometimes, which makes me lose the game), I am the only person who has the damage because of it and I am fine with that.

The only time I really got burned out by playing Killer was when Krasue released. But this was mainly because I really dont like her at all, since she is so insanely boring to play. I still have not brought her to P9 or did her Achievements (something I do with every new Killer), because I cannot stomach that. That Krasue was the Killer added before BHVR decided to push back content did not help either.

I started watching the first video and saw the easiest M1 being missed. Here we have our CC in a nutshell.

Back to the topic. I am having great time as a killer and don't get mad or sad.
It's easy most of the time or I find room for improvement.

T-bags don't change my mood, I just don't care about them. This seems to be a common problem for other people.

On the other hand… I am getting frustrated on the survivior side. Especially when I do some solo queue.

Survivior role has become much harder, because:

    1. New killers are really strong. Especially against solo queue.
    2. A lot of killers have strong anti-looping abilities or have great mobility.
We had a lot of killer buffs over last few months, barely any nerfs.
    3. Every survivior has to be efficient the game is lost.
    4. Tunneling is really strong right now. Especially after devs scrapped all the anti-tunnel changes.
    5. People are giving up because the games aren't enjoyable.
    6. We face only few killers all the time. Kaneki, Blight, Nurse… I don't ever see dnd vecna, oni, dracula.
    7. Survivior pain points, frustrations are not being changed for months.
