Whats the most outlandish IP you want in DBD?
IP's are always a big talking point in DBD and its always nice to see something you want added into a game you like. But to put aside the whole oh this IP wouldnt fit dbd or no this IP would kill DBD talk aside for once, whats your most outlandish IP you want to see that you would like to see in this game?
Do not say star wars as that has been talked about so many times.

I think the Wicked Witch of The West would be a cool Killer with Dorothy as a Survivor.
The movie itself certainly wasn't Horror but I still think The Witch was an excellent villain and Dorothy would be a good Survivor.

parasyte: the maxim. the killers are sort of in that mimic territory since the parasites take over people's brains however stealth is just something that's convenient for them to live in a society. I believe The Parasyte could easily hit Legion tier popularity just for being able to open up the possibility of a killer choosing from survivor cosmetics (not licenced obviously)

The idea of Jacket being both the killer and the survivor is so interesting that I'd be entirely down for it despite the tone not really fitting DBD.

Deadlock.
Specifically, this
ladcreature. The kit he has in Deadlock could be a lot of fun if translated to DbD, and he's just got that creepy eldritch personality to him that'd be perfect as a killer.2 -
I finished Lost recently and cannot get the idea of John Locke as a survivor and an island map out of my head.
The hatch in DBD could be redesigned to look like the hatch on the show for the map, and anyone whose seen Lost has the absolutely generational feats this man has pulled off.
Add him to the survivor catalogue and I'd play him as much as Trevor, Ash, and the RE gang. Long shot licence, but don't tell me what I can't do!

Something from the lovecraft mythos. There is some weird stuff that would make for some gloriously unhinged killers. A hound of tindalos, the midwich horror, a shoggoth, one of the ancient creatures from the mountains of madness story, a lovecraftian ghoul, a fish person, the goat goddess with a thousand young (would type her name but worried it might get me banned 🙃) The list goes on.
Also in a similar vein, darkest dungeon has plenty of potential killers that would be plenty weird and gribbly.

I still really want Trantor the troll from Ernest Scared Stupid. I know this will never happen 1. Because it is a kids Disney film and also because Disney has never done much with it in terms of merchandising to begin with. He would be awesome though. Maybe part of his terror radius could be him tormenting you with the voice of other survivors. He could make a cool skin for Oni as well

Evangelion. Anime is on the table now, and it has plenty of horror, but it's outlandish because the possible killers are kaiju sized so they'd need to shrink them to make it work. Maybe a Dredge-Nightfall mechanic that sends everyone to a different map (like the Grimoire killer), where the killer is allowed to be its proper size, for some My Little Oni inspired gameplay?

It's one of those shows where I feel like it's had enough impact as a piece of media, has the stylistic themes and horror elements to fit in, and was one of the last "literally everyone is watching this" shows from the 2000s to not be an entirely impossible addition.
It just struggles with not having nearly as strong a modern day presence as shows like Supernatural or X Files in comparison to DBD.
Still, let me play as Locke and grab other candidates like Michael and Charlie!!

I would love Little Shop of Horrors. The killer would be Audrey 2 and Seymour, with the player controlling Seymour to bring back blood to A2, and the survivor could honestly be any one of the other 3 big characters, but I think the best role reversal would be for it to be the dentist.

My dream chapter.
I know Buffy has supernatural powers and abilities, but they could either have The Entity strip her of her powers or maybe have her taken into The Fog during the S3 episode “Helpless” as that could be a nice way to tie in the shows lore with DBDs. There’s so many cosmetics that could be made and that’s not even including the Legendary ones.
Although it would probably be a paragraph chapter, I would love if we also got The Gentlemen as the killer(s) as I feel like there’s so many fun things you could do with their power.

Stripping survivors of powers they would have had in their own universes is already established, so Buffy could work just fine. The fact that the Buffy revival was cancelled is pretty devastating both because I grew up with that show, and because it would have been the perfect storm to make the IP very appealing as a new chapter.
The Gentlemen would be my pick too! The best example of horror in Buffy and super iconic. I imagine they'd have a lot of powers/perks that obscure survivor information, given how they work in the show, although maybe that'd make them noobstompers that get bodied by SWFs/high-hour players.0
