Survivor pick rates tracked: March 2026
Hey everyone! If you havent seen my last post, ill tell you what this is. Essentially I have always wanted to track how often I come across each survivor, so ever since December 2025 I have been tracking them each game whether im killer or survivor. I dont count myself, and i dont count my friends if I am in SWF
I keep them in order by release to keep it organized. last time I posted it I saw many people enjoying the post, so I figured id post the updated numbers every so often!

The first thing I did was check where Sable was at.
Yup. That tracks.7 -
EXACTLY what the first comment on my reddit post acknowledged too 😂

Kinda hard to believe theres more ricks n daryls over alucard and soma lol

Ha! Well, the stereotype is there for a reason! No disrespect to Sable players, of course, she's a fine survivor.
I'm honestly surprised by some of these figures, though. I suppose there is a degree of recency bias in there, hence the overrepresentation of Eleven. I expected more Davids than what you got, and I'm not 100% sure why Feng Min is so represented. I like her, she was my go-to until I discovered the good word of Mikaela and her hat, but she's kinda loud and seems pretty middle of the road for aesthetic/cosmetics.3 -
Yeah I was expecting people to notice that. Usually when a survivor comes out they'll skyrocket and then stabilize later on. I felt like I would still keep track though, since I technically did still play against them

It'd be interesting to further explore your data. What is the ratio of female to male survivors? What is the ratio of licensed to original? Free to unlockable?
Do survivors that start with more popular perks see higher pickrates? Or do people just throw BP into them, unlock what they want, and stick to their faes?
Does having more cosmetic options increase pickrate significantly?
Making me want to start tracking my games now!2 -
Honestly? I think cosmetics hold a huge part. When people look at survivors, they may be MUCH more likely to pick a survivor that has more variation than let's say another survivor that has half those options. I think its why they did a rework of their cosmetic release system

It's always interesting to see how popular certain Survivors are. Looks like the Feng supremacy is finally over, though she's obviously still hanging in there. From these numbers, it's easy to see why Sable, Feng and Kate get new cosmetics so often.
That said, I actually haven't seen that many Kates, Sables or Fengs in my recent Killer games. From my last 20 Killer games, Lara is the most popular individual Survivor (7 Laras Vs 4 Sables). I almost always see at least one Resident Evil character in my lobbies, too (partly why I don't want to see another chapter. I'm kinda tired of seeing these guys). I wonder if I see so many Laras because I'm on the UK/Ireland servers…
For the lack of cosmetics that Meg gets, you'd never know she was the fourth most popular original Survivor overall, at least according to these figures (I suspect they are similar to BHVR's own numbers). Perhaps Meg mains don't spend a lot on skins. But then all we seem to get from BHVR are sports related cosmetics or scraps from the table like the recolours that really should have been on the free track of the current rift. What have the devs got against us megheads?

So I think it possibly relates to my region? Also a good chunk of these numbers comes from 2v8, where people didnt have to use bloodpoints to unlock a good load out. Im not sure how much that effects it, but either way people just have different experiences i guess. I personally love resident evil but I get what youre saying, I think they should just stick to more legendary skins if they want to add more characters

using random 2v8 data and regular data and your own biases factored (what region you play in, whats your MMR, and what time of day you play) will skew this data. Its interesting data but should be taken with a grain of salt. No one knows the real #'s except BHVR.

The Walking Dead is a far more recent IP. The series just ended 3 1/2 years ago, so more people will probably know it at this point. Plus there are spin-offs planned or already realized. (Including a Daryl Spin-Off)
Castlevania on the other hand is older, especially the videogames. The most recent content is the Netflix series, but it has been years since they released a new Castlevania game. And even longer since they released an actually good Castlevania game…
And for Alucard and Soma in particular, Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow are around 20 years old, Symphony of the Night is almost 30 years old. And ingame, I am not sure if you can already buy Soma in the Store, since it was a Rift-Skin.

Lmao, me too. 😂 I was like there is no way Meg is up there and I saw the Sable and I was like - yep, this tracks.

OK Felix is up to 10! I'm surprised Feng got close to Sable. Being the only triple digit one is crazy though.

I meant because of rick and daryls voice problems. Richter i can understand his low number since nobody was satisfied with his face and they won't fix it
