Myers main here
It's no question I think the mass majority of the community loves pre-rework myers as he was just more fun to play. Post rework especially now with the elusive perks he has fallen way down the tier list in my opinion, especially scratched mirror myers, he feels so bad to play not to mention there is only two add-ons designed to work with scratched mirror myers which is the 4.4ms boost and increased pools of blood/scratch marks. I am currently about to run a couple of games without the 4.4ms boost to see how it negatively impacts him, I don't expect myself to have any fun at all tbh. In all honestly losing the minor speed boost probably isn't worth it.
With the addition of elusive Scratched mirror myers is now virtually useless given his negative speed and unbelievably low lunge distance, yes you can use haste perks like PWYF but you're giving up gen progress in order to get it and most other haste perks require very specific conditions usually completion of a gen or chasing an obsession on top of the fact that gens are just absurdly fast normally but you REALLY feel it with this character. I honestly use to love pre-rework myers specifically for jump scaring survivors but I rarely get the opportunity to do so now. With the new map addition I thought this would be the perfect map for him but I barely got a kill with him and managed to get a second kill due to survivor error at the very last second. One of the biggest issues is speed and survivors being able to see you even a couple seconds ahead of time and pre-run, if they have sprint burst/lithe or even the minor 3% haste from the boon perk, forget about it, the chase is over before it begins.
So with the rant out of the way I'd like to ask your opinions on how you other myers mains play scratched mirror and give any tips on how to better my experience while trying to utilize this kit. I honestly don't care for slaughtering strike but it is 99% of his entire build now so I just opt to not use him for the majority of the time, the times I do use him is when I'm trying to fill that void of what he use to be but am ultimately let down every time I decide to do so. I and many others wish the devs didn't feel the need to nerf/rework him because what made him unique is just completely gone now. No offense to certain commenters but I don't need the comments about how you can use his new add-on to expose survivors to make him feel like old myers, it honestly just isn't the same.
I was totally fine only getting 2 kills with old myers against good teams or sometimes no kills at all because there were other games where I could actually 4k or destroy toxic players once you finally reached level 3 but this new update just doesn't hit and I've been trying for awhile now. With all the other changes the killer experience in my experience has degraded quite a lot from when I started playing a short time ago. I often sit on the title screen debating which killer I'd like to use but often opt out and choose survivor because the killer experience feels vastly similar whereas before each killer felt unique in their own way, below is a picture of the only killers I have left to purchase but can't bring myself to make the purchase because at this point it'd honestly make more sense to invest in survivor perks with how bland the killer experience has become and on that note the survivor role gets extremely dull fast so even contemplating the decision to invest in survivor perks doesn't hold much merit because I just don't enjoy the survivor role as much as I did the killer role.
Now I'm stuck in a place where I don't feel like I'm having fun very often and am often sitting afk at the lobby. Perhaps it's time I move on to another game but it's a shame because before all these reworks the game actually left me wanting to come back for more despite having some bad experiences here and there, now it's just a consistently frustrating experience leaving me feeling like my time would be better spent somewhere else, not trying to trash the game just trying to give feedback on how my experience has shifted with these recent updates.

I will give my opinion on this, it might be unwarranted but hear me out.
When you play scratched Mirror Myers, how exactly are you playing? Are you being predictable in how you're operating (I can tell from how a Myers is moving exactly what and how they play). If you are coming at me thinking that I'm going to panic vault into you, it's not going to happen.
However, if you play more mind-game heavy and actually more unpredictable you will actually surprise me. A lot of scratch Mirror Myers so, so predictably that I can read them quite easily.

Sorry for the chaotic commentary, but here is me deliberately challenged a Myers once I have figured out how they operate. Yes, I do go down after the first hook (after a strong chase, in my opinion) because I guessed wrong on the mind-game. However, that Myers in the video literally abandoned me because he could not capture me.
If you playing predictable and I can see you, I will play around you. This is why in mid-high MMR even with a stealth killer like Myers and Ghostface, you need to actually think about how you're coming at me. This is why high MMR players will moonwalk to hide their red stain and sometimes it works on me, other times it won't - I don't get mad, I might say something about it, but I'm not going to send you hate-mail saying you outplayed me and I'm salty you hit me when I doubled back on a wall like I did with this Myers.
The point is to be unpredictable because once I can predict you, it's done.

I didnt like Slaughtering Strike at first, but with the changes its just a speedy lunge (not real turnrate-limitations), so it works out for me. My favourite build was Speed-Myers anyway.
Base Myers has still the same problem. He can be easily prerun if survivor pay attention. I know both sides bc i play with less experienced friends, but while they struggle to spot him (and call every stealth killer op), i dont see it as a real useful power on most maps. There are some gens (even on outdoor maps) which you can sneak up on, but its really rng-heavy.
Whats brings me to Mirror Myers. For me hes dead. But that has nothing to do with the rework. Its the map offering change (it was a neccessary change). Its ok with 4.4m, but without the addon its pointless. I only have Chaos shuffle experience, but its useless against decent survivor. Pre-rework Mirror-Myers would be awful. He needed an indoor-map. And against good survivor pwyf was needed. Except you played optimally. Which meant proxy-camping. But i never did that bc i wanted to scare people. Not use a build + map offering to sweat with an unfun playstyle for a win. Why was pwyf still needed? Without it i got my scary hits, but couldnt down good survivors. It would be hit, reset in a safe location, hit etc. Slowly the gen gets done or the survivor get sloppy and go down. Thats boring and after the third hit not even scary anymore.
So in conclusion: im fine with the rework, even if it isnt perfect. And the lunge bug is really annoying.

I think current scratch mirror is better because he has lunge (the prerework mayers with scratch mirror had no lunge and needed addon to make his half lunge but still it wassnt full lunge), this mayers has slower speed but with one addon he is back at 110% speed with lunge only negativity he has is lack of guarantee map which I get it can suck but on other hand you are 110% speed killer with wallhacks and lunge that is something previous mirror mayers wasnt and only thing that kept him on simular level were map offerings but hold on the survivors used theirs aswell or green hand so chance for indoor map werent guarantee and most of maps survivors picked werent friendly for scratch mirror mayers only maybe the game (god pallet simulator) but even as indoor map this isnt so good map for him compare to larrys,hawkins,rpd.

Scratched Mirror 🔎 Myers main here and the changes I notice the most are the swap out of the lunge range with the 8 meter Stalking range on the BM add-on. Also the reduced speed - I'm getting utterly destroyed on the new map even with all the walls and increased Stalking range. The map is just too big and this new Myers is too slow to cover any ground. And since BHVR destroyed the one great feature of DBD in Map Offerings, I now cycle through matches hoping to land on a Midwich or RPD map. Myers is absolutely worthless on most of the maps as he relies on stealth that can only be achieved through indoor maps. I have the same issue with my secondary Killer - Amanda's Letter Pig 🐽— which is essentially a Scratched Mirror Myers with reduced aura range but a speed burst in her charge attack. BHVR needs to implement the "Featured Maps" server from several months ago as that played the same map for 3 days on a separate server. I could just wait for Midwich and RPD to be featured and then play Ninja Myers constantly. Now I just have to "go next" for most matches by hiding in the basement and allowing the Survivors to farm Bloodpoints. 😫

Maybe it is a lunge bug idk cause my lunge in scratched mirror myers is like the smallest lunge consistently through every game, like 0.25 seconds of a lunge basically a quick click of my m1 even though I'm holding it down, I preferred the old playstyle where I was actually able to get kills but never 4k, even with the 4.4 boost I'm still getting survivors that are basically just as fast as me and I'm just chalking it up to speed hacks or something cause I'm just barely able to keep up with any of the survivors across a large amount of games, so either the 4.4ms is bugged or there are a hell of a lot of subtle cheaters running in games.

4.4 sometimes feels slower bc the hitbox of the killer is larger and you cant hug objects as tight as survivor. But there are certainly cheaters, so who knows. (But that many are unlikely, atleast from my experience in europe).
The lunge bug sounds annoying. Was it always there or only after the update?

Honestly Scratch mirror was dead even before the rework and its for two reasons. Since map offerings are no longer guaranteed, you can no longer rig the game in your favor with indoor maps like Larry's, Silent Hill, The Game or the new Trickster Delusion. You're just a 4.4 killer with no power on any other map that isn't indoors. Even if they made changes to Scratch Mirror, maps ultimately hurt him the most.
What also killed Scratch Mirror is just time. Most players are pretty use to it and are no longer scared of it. As other people have said, its easy to predict most Scratch Mirror players, and abuse their slower speed. 4.4 killers are 4.4 because they have mobility or ranged attacks. They're meant to keep up, not catch up. A 4.4 Myers only option is hit and run because rarely is the chase worth it, and that contributes to him being very predictable.
