Potential Energy became OP because of Fast Track
If the generator's maximum charge has decreased, you can charge Potential Energy tokens more quickly. If the generator's maximum charge has dropped to 10, you'll be able to earn 20 tokens in 2 seconds.

Seems unintential to me…
But I think Devs have to tell us if this is wanted or just an oversight

Certainly doesn't seem intended, nor is it going to be feasible to that degree in an actual match. Getting that many tokens applied to one gen takes conscious, active effort by all 5 players.

The issue always lies with SWF teams. They could deliberately prime a generator and then gain a massive advantage by transferring that progress with Potential Energy

I already said not to leave it in, bugs should be fixed. But having a gen that only takes 10 seconds to complete is a manufactured scenario you aren't going to see in a normal game.
Just waiting to get the still checks to pop up at all to apply FT stacks would complete this gen in a normal match if they weren't letting it regress in between for exactly this test.

Looks like it is unintended. This can happen from time to time, it is impossible to keep track of everything with the hundreds of Perks we now have in the game, especially if it includes a Perk almost nobody runs like Potential Energy.
You should also write Bug Report in the betahub:
Because the goal for Potential Energy is to have a slower repair to help complete Gens which are easier to defend for the Killer. And since nobody thought about Generators having reduced charges when creating Potential Energy, stuff like this can happen.

Couldn't this be the same as serpant and tblc or is this like a actual bug vs a synergy? (Calling it a synergy since they make it official)

I mean, it is probably a synergy, but unintentional. Because as I said, the goal for Potential Energy is that you slow down your repair speed (because you need 30 charges to load it up and you gain 20 charges out of it). And with reduced charges on a Gen it is not the intended way anymore how the Perk should function.
So it is most likely not a Bug which happened due to Spaghetti Code, but simply an oversight of an interaction, since Potential Energy was created when Generators could not have reduced charges (when it released, BNPs did 25% of a Gen as Progress).

This is 100% getting fixed. It is a bug.
And as far as Fast Track goes, something tells me it's not long until it gets a nerf.

Its not the goal. The token conversion is 1:1. Got changed a while ago.

Do you remember when? I missed this change and the wiki still says 30→20.

True, I did not notice that change to be honest. (Shows how pointless of a Perk it is…)
It was changed in 9.1.0:
btw. the wiki.gg is the correct one, the fandom does not get updated anymore.

Oh, thank you. Google doesn't even recommend wiki.gg for me, which is annoying. I wish I could just choose to block fandom from everything at this point.

Gen in 10 secods pure skoll issue from killer clearly ……… (for people who dont get read this* this is joke/irony, thank you for getting it)
Just remembered there was that bug how it was like that when one gen poped there was chance others will to so survivors could get gates by doing one gen and 2-3 gens in total poped so this is another pinicle od Dead by Buglight.
