This year's blood moon
Can we get some insight on why all blood pumps spawn within a seemingly 10 metre range of one another on what is seemingly the furthest point on the map from any of the actual blood gens? This event is starting to make gen perks feel mandatory in order to compensate for this spawn logic.

Do survivor gen perks even do anything for blood gens?

On some maps they are very far away like on Rotten Fields. But one match on Temple of Purgation there was 2 pumps within 5 feet of one another. Idk whats going on with them.

Some do, Prove and Resi for example. Pretty sure almost anything that just speeds repair speed up (as in yellow bar) applies

If only one Survivor can interact with a pump at a time, I'd prefer the pumps to spawn close together…

I mean, it takes like 5 seconds to fill up a cannister though, it's hardly a huge time sink. Having to walk to literally the other side of the map is more time consuming than taking turns refuelling.

As long as it does not rely on skill checks to function, yes. On both sides. Even then, there are only 4 Blood Generators on the map, meaning one still has to do at least one normal generator too.

At least 50% of my matches have all blood pumps spawning 10 feet away from each other and this cluster is halfway across the map from the closest blood gen. All the killer has to do is camp that pump cluster and you lose.

When I played on Raccoon City earlier, I couldn’t find a single Blood Pump indoors before the Killer killed me.
The only one I found was outside, on the far side after crossing the central courtyard.
As a result, not a single generator got done before I was sacrificed.The Offering’s Bloodpoint efficiency is bad enough, but this blatantly uneven spawn distribution shows just how terrible this Blood Moon event really is.

I haven't noticed it happening every game, but definitely happen more often than not and makes some of the further blood gens harder to get done. Would be less of a problem if the blood gens were close to that same cluster but that isn't always the case
