New map is way too much unbalanced
Corners everywhere.
lots of god and safe pallets
If you are a 4.4M killer, don't bother. Stand in a corner and wait for the next game cuz all the survivors has to do to win is press W and maybe sometimes use a windows or throw a pallet.
I agree, the map is looking pretty good… but damn. Chasing a survivor feels like hell.
If you are not camping or tunneling you just get destroyed, and survivors don't even need to try to rush

This map is a waste of time if you're not playing a Killer with mobility. Really annoying that we're 10 years in and the map design is still just so bad.

I have Had a very different experience. I have a lot of 4
3-4k matches on the new map. I mean I tend to play A tier and S tier killers so that probably skews my results but generally I feel like most low tier killers get pretty rough results so I don't think the new map is all that problematic for killer. I got good results with huntress and Vecna and they are 4.4. Which killers where you using so I can try them out on the map? Maybe change my opinion 🤷

3/4 pallets are unsafe, there are only 3 windows, no elevation. So far ive seen more killers winning then loosing on this map.

Two lefts don't make a right

I've played both roles on that map and it seems okay to me, personally. Just gotta familiarize myself with the layout more.

I've died in every survivor match I've played on this map. The pallets are horrible and there's lots of dead ends and empty stretches.

Yeah but this mythical thing called pre-running. Pre running makes a lot of these pallets a LOT better as it just makes it more distance the killer has to walk around. Can't deny the pallets what they're best used for.

Tried as Nemesis on this map a few times, got nothing of use done.

I would say its quite balanced at least my matches of deaths and escapes have been quite even and all of the few killer matches I played on that map were all 3k's and those were all random builds so I was not even stacking the deck.

Yeah, I'd love a reference photo of all these god pallets and safe pallets.
To me, it seems Behavior made a hold W map and the unsafe pallets (which is what they are) are used to ensure the survivor continues holding forward and only dropping the pallet when you notice the killer is raising their arm to hit you (to ensure a pallet stun).
That is the only way I'd opt to play on this map in all honesty. The streets are unsafe in general, the vaults are great for the most part. I just play the map as me attempting to waste as much time as possible to ensure my teammates get the gens done.
It's gotten to the point where I just commit to a gen (if it's got a lot of progress on it) just to ensure it pops, just to get objective progress done. I don't naturally queue up for the map itself, but so far I've escaped like 2-3 times out of maybe the less than 10 games I've done overall.

I still find myself still getting really lost. I guess with time I will get used to it.

Even if the new map is "Survivor-sided", I don't think this is a bad thing anymore so long as the maps across the realms are reasonably balanced between an equal number of Survivor-sided and Killer-sided maps. Since map offerings got nerfed, nobody has to worry too much about being sent to a horrible map for their side.
But I'm not completely sure the new map is entirely Survivor-sided anyway, since it's functionally an indoor map with lots of playable filler pallets for Killers to play around. Stealth Killers and perks are also relatively strong on it, so having another map that's decent for stealth can't be a bad thing when so many of the other maps are so open.

If you are a survivor and have Windows Of Opportunity, killer's game is dead.

Man, this is annoying. You have to wait two minutes just to get one hit.
Here’s the best example, since it’s supposed to be his affiliated map: Trickster is 4.4 m/s, and his power requires 6 hits to injure (sure, it’s better than 8). If you lose line of sight on a survivor—and you will, given the map—they’ll recover from the laceration.
But you also lose distance if you use your power. So if he uses it, he falls behind, which lets survivors recover from laceration (they just need one brain cell to realize holding W wins). But if he doesn’t use it, it takes ages to land a hit.
What annoys me most is that the map actually penalizes the killer it’s supposed to be affiliated with.
