Bug or Intentional - Dredge White Silhouette Visible at any Range

I played some private test matches with a friend, and we noticed something odd with Dredge.

Normally during nightfall the killer gets a white silhouette just outside the edge of visibility; everything beyond is darkness. However, when the Dredge enters and leaves a locker, either by teleportation or standing next to one, the killer is very much visible across the whole map at any range.

Sometimes during the next nightfall it would "fix" itself, but then teleporting just caused it again; sometimes it stayed persistent across several nightfalls.

Notice how far away the Dredge is and yet lights up and becomes very easy to spot during nightfall after teleporting and leaving a nearby locker.

Here in comparison the regular limit of Dredge's white shine. I took half a step backwards in the 2nd image, the Dredge stayed in the same position.

We were able to easily reproduce this regardless of which one of us was playing Dredge.
Is this a bug, and if so, is it known, or is this somehow intentional?

    I would say its a bug as there is no reason why you should be able to see him cross the map when he exits a locker. I also don't think this is reported as not seen this in the bug reports. If you don't mind do the effort and go report it to

    It still most likely will not be a top priority bug but its good to report and it will get fixed eventually. Would be better to you to report as you have first hand knowledge and have easier time to show what and how its bugged.
