You can see what killer your going against

Absolutely not. No way we should be allowing players to see the killer pregame. It is going to make lobby dodging much more atrocious and players can then counterbuild every killer they face. This would be an awful change if it gets implemented

Lol my thoughts exactly. Pig is one of my mains and the jigsaw boxes give her away pretty quick anyway. I think GF and Myers might be the only ones that don't have any immediate tells?

And thats the thing these "some" are excatly those that will get effected by this change and I dont thing wraith or more ghostface are so well equiped to take it as billy or spirit, larry etc. even hag will get hard nerf by this she should have map wide teleport or 4,6 m/s movement speed but I guess devs sleap at her as on swamp maps.
My only hope is when they touch swamp maps they will finally buff hag so she is more bareable to play than now where you cant do nothing just put down traps and camp hooks and 3 gens especialy against good survivors.

Have to admit to me this has never been a problem and in the end this is not going to fix anything. Most people will forget to check it before they already know who it is.

Im glad its finally happens. Make it work because it will be fairly correct from the surv side. In Texas Chainsaw Massacre you can see the killer from the start in lobby

So, I am fine with this, if stealth killer are getting a small upgrade overall too.
Like, for Myers this change doesnt matter too much, people are going to see him, he's still going to be stealthy.
People will know it's Pig fairly soon either way, same for Onryo, for the same reason
Ghostface only really has his first stalk being a surprise reveal, every other following stalk is a given.
This only really leaves Wraith, who only has his first uncloak really being a surprise reveal.
So I dont think stealth killers are receiving too big of a nerf.
In fact, I think the killer who gets affected the most, is Hag, since her ability to set up a web relies on the fact that survivors dont know she's there.
I do think BHVR needs to start catagorizing killers into 5 main groups:
1. mobility
2. stealth
3. low-mobility(basically ranged killers)
4. basekit slowdown (any killer that has basekit mending, or killers like Pig and Pinhead)
5. entrapment (Trapper, Hag, maybe Pig too?)
And then add values to those catagories that will cover certain aspects, like giving all killers 10% haste after hooking a survivor, except mobility killers. Giving entrapment killers basekit genblocking at the start of the game as they need time to setup anyway. That way, you can balance out those killers as a group, and if any specific killer is too strong or too weak in those groups, they can be adjusted to it1
