Why do survivors benefit from mistakes
And killers doesn't benefit from making the right play? I can't remember a game where making a mistake will grant me another chance. And the second it doesn't go their way, they give up?
Can you imagine if a killer whiffs the survivor must stand still and take a hit?
So why do survivors receive so many benefits against strategies killers use? And why does bhvr continue to listen to these types of survivors when it ultimately hurts their game in the long run?

What Killer strategies are giving survivors benefits from the killer using it?
for example If you are trying to use the slug strategy as certain killers it may not work out so well if survivors end up picking themselves up and resetting. Its risk v reward which many games do.1 -
Clearly you never play soloq as survivor. Mistakes galore. Today I've had one escape in maybe 10 games. Rest haven't even got gens finished legitimately

A killer mistake doesnt always matter, a survivor mistake can very easily turn into a loss.
Like, you can guess where survivors are, and make a mistake of not guessing correctly, the end result of the game reduces the chance of a win very slightly.
Survivors can guess where a teammate is to heal them up, and make the mistake of not guessing correctly, and now you basically had a 1v3 for the duration where they missed their guess, reducing the chance to finish enough generators in time.
The only survivor mistake that doesnt really matter, is a survivor missing a skillcheck. Mainly because killers dont investigate a missed skillcheck unless they literally have nothing else on their mind.
If we take the impact of all killer mistakes and all survivor mistakes, 1 survivor mistake equals roughly 5 killer mistakes.
I'm mainly guessing you're talking about Dead Hard or DS, but those are in the same ballpark as Pain Res. Why do you get to regress a gen you have not interacted with? It was your mistake to not check up on it and now you get regression for free even if you're on the other end of the map.6 -

No. But a Killer gains Bloodlust even if they whiff. And technically Bloodlust is also at the point where you get rewarded for playing badly, at least this is 100% the case for Bloodlust 2 and Bloodlust 3. You should not reach those Levels of Bloodlust, there are not really Loops in the game where you should be run around for so long without breaking a Pallet.
And considering that Anti-Tunnel, and Anti-Slugging changes got scrapped without any chances of they actually testing it or that Fast Track gets nerfed after only a few weeks instead of waiting to let things settle or that Fog Vials got obliterated after one week (!!)… I think we know who BHVR listens to. And those are not the Survivors.

I hope you’re joking. Killers are the ones who can play like crap and still get a 4 man slug. Survivors can’t play like crap and expect to finish all 5 gens.

The game is designed around survivor mistakes. Survivors have all the tools in the world to succeed. The killers are designed where their success depends on their ability to capitalize on survivor mistakes. Survivors who play perfectly will always win. Killers who play perfectly can still lose. The exceptions of course are blight and nurse which are just flat out broken - happy to see nerfs coming their way.

What are you even referencing? Survivor mistakes are punished way more severely than killers. I can't tell you how many killer matches I've had where I've played terribly–pretty much the whole match being a big mistake—and survivors make a wrong choice and I've suddenly won. The speed at which a killer can flip an L into a W is outstanding, whereas it's almost impossible as survivor. If the killer starts out with high momentum it's rare for them to lose.

Amen to that. Lost count of the number of bully squads I played against in my early killer career who turned a 1k loss for me into a 3 or 4k game because they botched an unhook attempt or just kept trading.
