Franklin’s Demise changing dropped items
Got hit by a Legion running Franklin’s and I dropped my purple key, when I went back for it it had been replaced by a green key (in the exact same spot my purple key was dropped).
i asked the team I was playing with if they perhaps picked up a green or purple key and they confirmed that they did not. Only my purple key and a toolbox we’re brought in.
any idea what’s going on??

Would be funny if Franklin's was buffed to reduce the rarity of the item you drop.

Someone with a green key took the opportunity for a good deal. You got robbed. Imo items dropped by Franklins demise shouldn't be able to picked up by other survivors, only you can pick up your item. It's a buff for Franklins, but also a QoL for solo Q.

I know franklins can reduce the charge on items when they’re dropped, it’s very possible it just “broke” it instead

You can take my word for it cause every time the Killer uses FD i tend to follow them to steal the item and usually put them in grass near the exit for myself later. I once had 7 items stashed like a hamster in the basement.
