The hype for 10th anniversary isn't there?

The past anniversaries were legendary especially anniversary 5 but the 10th anniversary is dead silent... what's going on?

all the hype is going towards the 11th.

At least that’s how it’s feels for me.

I kinda feel like the judgement could’ve been this anniversaries killer but they’ve been playing catch up with the game being on fire so the make your own chapter idea got pushed out to the future, with failed reworks, abandoned killers/perks, pointless operation health year.

I mean just conceptually it sounds like an incredibly fun and ambitious idea perfect for a games 10th anniversary.

Considering we know nothing this year compared to knowing what was coming a year in advance last anniversary it's no wonder the hype seems lower. Once the chapter is revealed I'm sure the hype will get bigger, especially if it's a really hype license.

Things will kick up very soon when we see what's behind the stop peeking teaser next week, the next PTB is only 10 days aways after all.

I don't feel like the studio deserves the hype. The game is a sloppy mess. It's probably not the worst it's ever been, but it's getting to a point where exploits, bugs, and bad ping feel like the norm.

On top of that, with the recent dash-slop rubbish, I fear we're probably going to end up with more of the same from the new killer.

The cheaters have been so bad lately. I had gone against 2 AI terminator bots today. A Hillbilly where its instantly sacrificing survivors and the other is a moon walking, rage hacking myers who also spinbots after downing someone with a almost non-zero hit cooldown after every hit.

I don’t even know why they keep doing free weekends at this point, they have to know it’s just gonna bring more cheaters than new players.

Getting the game free doesn’t even matter for most people thanks the $200+ worth of dlc they have to catch up on.

If they keep insisting on doing them they need to invest in some hardware/ip bans or kernel level anti cheat. PC people won’t like it but it works.

Yeah, the AI bots have been pissing me off more than anything. And every single time someone makes a post about it, the mods remove it. It's like they don't want to hear out concerns, we just have to deal with it.

I haven't spent a single penny on this game for maybe 7-8 months since the doctor AI bot first appeared. I can't see myself spending money on it again.

i think its funny that this ‘there is no hype this time’ gets repeated everytime, and by the time it is forgotten that there wasnt that high of a hype back then as well..

Last year it was already known what comes and while a big franchise there still wasnt people hyping it up too much.

Now, there is some hints and codes but speculatiom isnt really encouraged. BHVR learned that misleading hints may result in backlash if it turns out otherwise, and making it too obvious isnt good for further teases and promo and probably also not good for the Relation with the License holder..

Doesnt help that speculating something specific that may turn out to be true can (and has in the past) lead to Breaking Forums Rules because it can be Seen as revealing leaks…
