I hope im not the only one annoyed. Q times go to 5m's to 7m's when playing Killer. Its lucky we got the play while you wait.

But my question is that what are the Show cases even showing? Are they testing new tiles or map Design? Im very unsure at this point

They just let us have the "favorite" maps because of the anni.

I like it - I definitely played more when dead dawg saloon was on the rotation.

I played so much scratched mirror Myers, perkless Xeno, and survivor too yesterday because I was thrilled RPD was in the rotation.

Haven't had that much fun with Myers in such a long time. I'm also trying to learn Xenomorph and get stronger on maps I'm weak with and I ran no perks Xeno literally the entire day trying to learn hitboxes on tough loops and just forcing myself to get better.

I honestly love the map showcases vs the boosted maps we've had for months now. I know it's unlikely to be long term, but dang right now I've been so grateful. Made me miss when map offerings mattered a little bit.

I am begging for the Fallen Refuge more often, I want that generator achievement. πŸ˜…

I've very much enjoyed the Map Showcase. RPD helped me get a lot of progress done for Outbreak Breakout (only have about ~10 more matches to escape).

I'm currently hoping for the Disturbed Ward to appear to shoot for the Hemaphobia achievement. I personally wouldn't mind Map Showcase appearing every so often to be able to play on dedicated maps (such as Trickster's Delusion, where I still get lost).

    RPD = Ghost Face.

Great to play when he's at his best i.e indoor maps.

Not so great to play against all the time.

I like seeing the map beforehand so I can decide to play as killer, survivor or skip map entirely. Like I'm never playing Huntress on RPD by choice.

Btw thank you all who commented. I was just confused on why.

Personally I don't like map showcases unless its a brand new map. So I got annoyed by the fact the map showcases are effecting the Q times. No hatred intended its just my option.

I kinda agree… The times I play killer queues are hitting 6+ minutes even without 2v8, splitting the playerbase even further is just a pain. I'm not a huge fan of survivor so I just play less.

Fallen Refuge is not worth it. It's a terrible map to play as survivor.

It's just a terrible map in general even playing killer it can be a hassle to play on. It is the most Disappointing Map in the game by fare as well. I honestly wanted the prison or the hospital as a map from the walking dead.

I think BHVR should avoid splitting the queues unless absolutely necessary. I'm still not totally convinced splitting the queues for the big events is a good idea either, for all the difference it doesn't make to the way people play.

I played my first afternoon of Trials for a while today and I experienced some of the most imbalanced games I've ever played. Why don't they learn that the game just doesn't have the player base to support two queues at same time and still be able to give players a reasonably fair match-making experience?

As far as I know, they've never given us a rational for running these "map showcases". Who in their right mind wants to play on the same map over and over again, anyway? A big part of the fun of this game is the random elements. If this is a compromise for the players that liked using map offerings, I'd honestly rather have those back than have these pointless showcases destroy the already poor match-making system (and I say that as someone who was really happy to see map offerings get a well deserved nerf). I would also rather have boosted maps over a separate queue if they want players to play certain maps more often.

I got that one just end of last month. Took me that long to get the map and not either get a killer who played way too well or survivors who really played the map and not give up after first hook. Still the map needs some love as its most likely the worst balanced map in the game currently. It also needs more its own identity that one Walking Dead tile is not really cutting it.

Can you tell them that fallen refuge is hands down the worst map in the game?
