How long till Jason gets nerfed?
So it's obvious Jason is stupidly broken right now, we can look at Henz, Otz, and other major streamers getting steamrolled by him despite being in a comp 4 man swf with some of the best dbd players in the world. What I want to know is how long do people think it will take for him to get his first round of nerfs?

Longer than a month
Probably gonna be about 2 months before devs have any proper data on him so that is likely when he will receive changes if any at all. Other than that once people actually use his counterplay his kill rate should drop to normal.

What..? Every high tier killer that has been released as of late has been nerfed since their release, multiple times. While Dracula is still top 5 he did receive nerfs, Kaneki has gotten loads of nerfs, Krasue got shot in an alleyway, Vecna 2.0 got some nerfs to make it where he takes skill to use now.
The reason why killers aren't immediately nerfed post release is due to the fact that typically the PTB and public matches play VERY different from eachother. And as we have seen in the past a broken killer in the PTB becomes lackluster after people use and learn counterplay during public matches.

Eh, ghoul may be broken still but he did get some nerfs. And they finally did something to slightly help with blight. I should totally have added an option for a few years though.

I think he should lose haste after a spear throw. That would be a good balance change without impacting him SEVERELY.

He should not have haste to begin with and him still having it while using the spear is the bigger issue since that makes zoning dramatically easier. He's not like huntress or deathslinger where they have to walk to the survivor and the survivors have time to react, Jason teleports almost on top of someone without warning, I can think of maybe a handful of generators in the game without a pallet or window next to them and I don't even know if they still exist in this version of the game. He's already S tier we should be looking to bring him down to A at the very least.

he's not broken he's just ok. he has counterplay with crouching because it gives him zero information

That's… not how counterplay works. You can't work on generators or progress the game at all while crouched and you can't even stay still. Seriously no other killer has this extreme amount of lethality, mobility, and free information. He gets so much more information than even doctor, not even lockers work against Jason.

you do know that he can go after 2 people at most so if urban becomes meta which increases crouching movement speed (which i'm using) he can't detect anyone in OE and people can do gens while he's searching for people

So… your first claim was that the counterplay to him is to crouch. I pointed out that doesn't make sense at all because you can't do gens as that reveals you to him. Are you agreeing with me that he does not have counterplay or that your first comment was nonsense and are just trying to change to a different argument?

no i'm saying the counterplay is to crouch he has no information while doing so the moment he leaves it do gens when he enters it again go to another gen or just hide somewhere since he has no information he'll be looking around for you while your team does gens and repeat this because no pallets are used you don't lose anything and if jason has perks that run on timers they're running out while you lose nothing.

Wow… I don't think I could have described why Jason needs a nerf better than you. The only counterplay he has is to do nothing and wait. Seriously I cannot come up with a better argument for why his power needs massive changes than the only way to beat him is to be bored and do nothing for half the match.
