PSA: Temp workaround for cakes while you wait for a fix.
For people doing DbD levelling in the event.
You CAN get cakes randomly in blood webs but only via auto spend. So the best way to do it is auto level to the levels there are set cakes
3, 5, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 28, 30, 35, 40, 42, 45, and 50.
Then you get the 14 and a chance to get them randomly on your way to the set ones

Thank you for the advice! Still hate how greedy BHVR is with this event, actually baffling how awful the Cake spawn rates are.

i love celebrating the 10th aniversary with matches that have a single cake offering.

even if they fix it, i’m not bringing any when I play killer. I will when I play survivor but this event is so bad. As someone who plays both sides, i understand that most events are killer sided but this event is more along the lines of hey killer go sit in the corner while survivors bp farm mode.

Like I get that, but that's kind of hurting yourself in the long run, they just fixed it supposedly and you get more cakes for bringing them.

they didn’t fix it tortes are still very rare so bulk spending is still a no go. and after manually spending 2 prestiges on jason i got 34 cakes instead of 28 big whoop. Yes i restarted my game.
I’m not taking it out on the players because i will use them in the regular mode. But in event mode? No its survivor pudding.

Honestly it's just going to make survivors resent you, there is no reason not to when you get like umpteen in return.

if you played my killer matches you wouldn’t honestly care if they resent you. This event sucks and i’m not boosting their bp while they abuse this busted event to prevent me from getting any myself.
