what is going on with killers?
Have been having quite a few games where killers are Bming(i.e. smacking on hook, tbagging/humping, etc.) i'm not talking about 1 in 10 games it's like 8/10 games right now.

Black banquet caused a lot of burnout on both sides. But killers got it especially bad. They had a survivor sided event, lots of losses, and a lot of killers resorted to hard tunneling as a way to win. Not a fun tactic and usually provokes a lot of post game salt from ppl in dms and postgame chat.
I think ppl need a week or two to settle down and get the frustration out of their systems.

bad matchs making killer pissed off and they take it out on the next match because they got a bad map and perk gapped

I played killer almost exclusively during banquet and did fine for the most part, and i probably played it more than most people did.

Dont say that too loud youll be accused of being a low mmr survivor main.

Us killers just got done getting torched during the event for bloodpoints so I’m one of them unfortunately.

Same here, aside from towards the end in my survivor games when ppl started tunneling like their lives depended on it, I actually had a really good time with the event.
I had a great time with killer, experimented with builds that countered the event's mechnics. Had me using killers i don't normally touch. Plague games were fun, people would often panic at the lack of healing and start cleansing. I was in power for entire matches, great fun.
But our experience isn't the universal one. A lot of killers struggled badly with the event because they couldn't adapt. I know I was certainly escaping a LOT more games as surv.

I'm a chill killer at least rn. But yeah soloq has been rough since the end of the event.

I have a feeling that you’re exaggerating a bit here, unless you want to record your next 10 matches and prove to us that this is happening in most of them.
I really don’t understand what the point of these “what’s the deal with killers” or “what’s the deal with survivors” posts are, other than to stir up tribalistic arguments. Your personal experience in the past few matches you played is not a broad representation of the experience of the entire DbD community.1 -
Just comes with the love of the game. Nothing wrong with a few humps, or a few smacks on hooks when someone is running a perk you don't like. Sure it might upset you but it's just a game. If i win a 50, i'm gonna give a few bags. It's just a bit of playful banter, gets everyone a little riled up and adds a bit of spice to gameplay. Nothing wrong with it.

Childish behavior from people who should know better but what can you expect. I got humped just because random reason only thing I did was help to save someone else from the hook in endgame. Like I don't care if they do it really but it just removes any gg or praise after the match as its unneeded and just shows the maturity level on the otherside.
Still that was like one of two I saw doing it the whole play session.

Same. Had like an 80% KR over 150ish matches. Was great. I miss it already.
The BMing goes in waves for me. I'll have sessions where it's basically every match but then I'll have several with no BMing at all.

shame about my p100 Cenobite but I'm glad I took a break from that terrible event because I'm feeling refreshed and ready for some dbd. cakes were not worth it

See I quite enjoyed the event personally. But a lot of ppl struggled to adapt. You definitely saw less farming games than normal during those bp heavy events, shows ppl were getting tilted

I tried to adapt...like if I picked bubba I could consistently 4k but I didn't enjoy winning like that. to be perfectly honest, I prefer events being naturally a bit killer sided so I can let out my wild side with Count Barkula or no power Krasue. The fun seemed to be zero sum and was entirely dependent on Table RNG.
It's impossible but I try to have us all have a good time as we can even if the match sucks but the event seemed to bring about a lot of...suck.

I dont really see much Killer BM. Or much BM in general, the closest was probably a bunch of Survivors who used Exponential and Flashlights, making it hard for me to pick them up. But since none of them were toxic, I dont count that as BM.
And as I said, I dont really see Killers BM, neither in Postgame Chat nor ingame. What I see more is Killers using full Slug Builds, which is unpleasant to go against (and I would gladly trade some humping and nodding against that, lol), but this is also not really toxic.

I doubt it's killers specifically, and more that the casual players are back on their break until the next event
