Built In Unbreakable

Wouldn't it be fun and fresh if you could just get yourself off the ground when a killer tries to just slug everyone down to secure the 4k?! Yes you could run unbreakable, but what about those times you are just sitting there and bleeding out...realistically after losing 25% of your health bar you should be able to just get yourself up at that point but not recover the missing blood. It feel like its game play abuse when you are just slugged and left there to not get picked up and bleed out. It isn't fun to have that happen and you are forced to wait and bleed out or just DC and find a different match. I feel like this would be a nice implement to help deter just leaving people on the ground. And it wouldn't be able to happen very often because you will bleed out eventually, but at least you get a chance to keep playing if the killer is just playing a slug game and other players are dead.

Well, then killers would never leave you on the ground. They'd always immediately hook you. Unbreakable allows you to have an ace up your sleeve that the killer doesn't know about. This is the problem with No Mither, because the killer knows you can recover infinitely, so they'll always hook you instead of slugging, aside from very rare occasions. This would hurt survivors more than help them, in my opinion.

Yeah I think so too actually. It's a way to punish and discourage that behavior because there's nothing less fun than being basically locked out of the match until the killer decides to come retrieve you or someone recovers you. Outside of the occasional spotting of a Survivor nearby, killer is really should be hooking but it feels punishing as a Survivor to just be lying on the ground. Sometimes I want them to find me but they can't find me lol

As much as my survivor side says yes this would be amazing, considering the survivors must generally make a mistake to be slugged (esp in all 4 at the start of the match cases) it would be unfair to the killer especially if they just go to chase away someone trying to do a potential save and then the other person gets up. Plus unbreakable already exists as a perk, considering I don't run it and experience such 4k slugging once in 20+ games I don't think it's that big of an issue. It sucks when it happens but we do have ways to get around it. Plus you can crawl away and hide/recover, I've had a few matches where I and other survs have managed to get around this issue just by playing carefully and still manage escapes, the killer takes a risk in losing you both with slugging, or the last person getting the hatch anyway if the killer is not prepared.

We can add built in unbreakable when we get rid of the hatch standoff. That's the only real reason to leave someone down for that long

On the off chance this isn't bait slugging is fine currently as slugging can easily go terribly wrong because if you aren't chasing other survivors while slugging then you might as well hook the survivor or your losing the time game. Slugging at least in the ways I see it used either happen with the whole team being in one single area, or they are using a bait tactic drawing survivors in to attempt to slug multiple people. Both have easy counters and plus the killer doesn't benefit from slugging much due to needing more hooks to pip. Slugging is also a rare case at least in the games I play. It has counter play we don't need this change.

Perhaps recovery could slow down drastically at X percentage (75%?) but allow full recovery to add incentive to hook the survivor and avoid slug games?

What's wrong with slug games? the only reasons killers generally slug is because the hatch mechanic favors survivors so heavily and it slows down 5 minute gen rush games.

Another question why does do these threads keep coming up?

nerf camping, nerf tunneling, nerf slugging nerf nerf nerf every play style killers can use except for ez looping.

You already have stupidly overpowered second chance perks, the only decent perks killers can use to try and stop this is NoED and that's completely preventable.

Slugging is fine and if used effectively it can slow down the game.

Unbreakable and tanacity when used together are perfect in those kinds of situations plus you have other survivors to help pick you up. I think it's fine the way it is.

Too many second chance perks and he wants a built in unbreakable.

    Lol.

The hatch massively favors survivors, its ez mode escape

If the hatch wasn't so survivor oriented killers wouldn't have to slug, but of course instead of fixing the hatch problem survivors should just get a massive buff instead.

Tunneling is the only one that needs a nerf since it is both always unfun AND it is optimal. Camping is a terrible strategy and slugging is a perfectly fine strategy that doesn't have game ruining properties
