I don't care what the devs say...
I'm reporting every single DC from here on out. I hope it's really irritating sorting through the reports.
This is beyond unacceptable.

You realize that you are taking time from the devs which they would need to spend on those reports that they have to manually check (exploits etc.)?

I'm not saying the system is good, but flooding the mods with useless reports isn't helping.
What's with this mentality that breaking something is the best way to fix it? Problems don't get solved more quickly just because they're worse than others. In fact, bigger problems often require more time to fix than smaller ones.

Because everytime someone comes to the forums, Reddit and or Steam and complains about being banned for dcing means it's not working.
Oh and there's this pesky thing called privacy rules and laws, perhaps you've heard of those you know the ones. Where they can't disclose actions taken against someone's account without violating said laws and rules.
Since you're such an upstanding member of the community you'd be willing to indemnify them for any and all legal costs associated with them breaking said laws and rules. Now we all know that's never going to happen because you don't actually care about anything other than bashing them.

They just need to do what Blizzard does with Overwatch: Ban the false reporters after enough are made.

You will never know if anyone gets banned or not - we don't tell you any information about that if XY user got banned or not.
Do not report DCs. Associated Community Managers would lose some valuable time which could have been used on other reports. Doing this resolves nothing.

Well hopefully they have implemented the ban for false reporting and it extends to those reporting for dcing so you may get an answer on if people get banned.
While the system is far from perfect reporting just creates more reports to go through so actual reportable offenses take longer to get actioned.

Does report mean type in a message, or just click the little coach for Unsportsmanlike? It says to select that for disconnecting and such...

You should probably use those ears and listen for once, i've reported so many people for way worse things than dc'ing.
The moderation team are not going to sit there and do something when they already have a system in place, if you yourself can't handle that, then you should probably get some help or find a new game to play.

Well considering all dc reports get discarded and if he continues to abuse the report system he puts himself at risk for punishment. So he's not doing anything other than trying to be a jerk.

If people aren't on the forums they may not know about this. It still says to report dc after the game so this should be removed.
Show it in the news section for new players to learn and remove it from that particular reporting section.

When I go to the DMV to get my license renewed or my plate re-registered I don't take a number from their automated system, I bring my own numbers and scream the numbers out whenever I'm not called. Eventually someone will help me!

That's cute.. but alot of people aren't DCing on purpose, but "losing connection to host" mid game. It has happened to me playing survivor and getting dc's mid game while playing killer. So you are just wasting their time on an issue that they are aware about, and are working on a fix (see their developer update).

A lot of very convenient "lost connections to host" the instant they are downed or see a killer they don't like. I know about the bugs and I don't care about those.
